Papa John's founder and ex-chairman John Schnatter had strong words for his former company, claiming that they have abandoned the "principles" he followed when he ran it, and that they have suffered as a result. In an interview with the Right Side Broadcasting Network at CPAC in Dallas, Texas, last week, Schnatter said he "built the whole company on conservative values" that have since been ignored. "I think they've really lost their way," Schnatter said. "It used to be an operational-driven company. Now it’s a lawyer, PR-driven company. They don’t run their company on principles and values." Schnatter went on to claim that the pizza company's performance

Due to my girth I only have pizza once a month or so. In choosing which one I'm motivated by taste and not politics. PJ is somewhere in the middle. Food delivery really took off during the pandemic. Pizza is not my first choice.

The quality of their pizza declined substantially. And you no longer place your order with the manager of the store from which you are ordering. Meanwhile the price zoomed upward. We’ve given PJ’s up.

John Schlatter was all about quality. Quality ingredients. CONSISTENTLY well-made pizzas. The ingredients may not have changed, but the slapdash consistency of preparation and baking is dreadful. These newbys always do a Biden and try to throw out any possible relationship to the owner/founder. They focus on rebranding and cosmetic things that don’t matter a whit to the customers. They are very limited thinkers. They often as not kill companies.

I am sitting here, in tears that drop faster every time I read….”Papa John’s is the best pizza we had available to us” Dear Lord in Heaven, you people have suffered enough. Say what you will about Jersey-and I say a LOT- we got great pizza. Every single independent pizza shop is only about a skillionbillionmillion times better than any PJ pizza, ever made or to be made. Gah, Elio’s frozen is better.

American Pizza was developed in the Midwest, the coasts did a great job of making them their own. PapaJohns was an excellent chain pizza. You used to be able to count on it. I, like #6, noticed a decline right after the boss was ushered out. My theory was the accountants took over. You can say the ingredients didn't change, but I have my doubts. The sauce was sweeter, the crust doughier, and the topping thinner. I recall forgetting extra cheese once.. What cheese? ANyway, with the shops having trouble getting help and some owners are not hands on, quality dropped. Then the deals that kept us coming back disappeared. Currently, in my boonies location, the PJ owner is doing a great job of working with what he has. Pizza Hut is Owned by LaRaza of Texas, so I don't even go there, and Dominos isn't out here in the sticks. Local maker...sad..but I swear one of them buys frozen Jack's Pizza at Kroger. On THAT subject if you like thin pizza, Red Baron is pretty decent. ;) Pizza, or any store bought food is a treat for us. Wednesday used to be pizza day. Don't start me on how bad Pizza Uno is now-a-days!

I'm not a big fan of pizza to start with, and dont care for Papa John's. The sauce was just too acidy. But I dont typically look at a company's politics when deciding where to go, unless they were it on their sleeves. (Like Dick's Sporting Goods).

Russia’s Saki Air Base, safely tucked away 120 miles or more behind the front lines, lost as many as 10 warplanes and various buildings in a series of explosions on Tuesday — but how it happened remains a mystery. Very few people seem to know what actually happened, and even those witnesses are telling conflicting stories. Massive explosions rocked the airfield, home to aircraft from the Russian Navy’s 43rd Independent Naval Attack Aviation Regiment. The smoke could be seen from miles away. Satellite photos show that Russia lost at least half a dozen aircraft, including top-line Su-30 Flanker fighters and older Su-24 Fencer fighter/bombers. Several buildings appear to have been destroyed or damaged,

On Thursday, FBI Director Christopher Wray cut short his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee to fly the FBI's private jet to his family's vacation home. At the hearing, Wray had admitted that disciplinary action against FBI personnel involved in Russiagate abuses had been "slowed down" and refused to call Russiagate a “hoax”. On Monday, President Trump revealed that Mar-a-Lago had been raided by "a large group of FBI agents". Any warrant for such a raid would have been signed off on by Attorney General Merrick Garland and his associates in the Biden administration which expects to face the former president in the next election. What are we to make of 30 or so FBI agents raiding President Trump’s Florida home to collect maybe 35 boxes of records for what is perhaps the Deep State’s 7th or 8th impeachment attempt? First, why no raids on the Democrats who took the jet to Epstein’s pedophile island with its readily available sex with underage girls? Why no raids on Hunter Biden and the apparent crimes documented on the laptop? Why no raids on Hilary Clinton after she destroyed evidence? The good news, and I think it is great news, is that at least a third of the country no longer believes they can expect justice

When the FBI raided Donald Trump’s home on Monday, a key aspect of what made the United States of America great and free has been lost, and likely cannot be recovered. John Adams and Thomas Jefferson detested one another for years before their eventual reconciliation, but neither one used the agencies of the U.S. government to hound, persecute or discredit the other. Other bitter political opponents throughout the history of the republic have never before used the government’s own mechanisms of justice to do injustice to their foes. Joe Biden, Merrick Garland and their henchmen have brought America to a new phase of its history, and it is not likely

The proposed amendment was filed Monday at the state Division of Elections, with Tallahassee-based Trulieve contributing $5 million to the effort to get the measure on the 2024 ballot. Other multi-state medical marijuana operators also are expected to support the campaign. Florida voters passed a constitutional amendment in 2016 to broadly legalize medical marijuana, and nearly 800,000 patients have been authorized for the treatment. While past recreational-marijuana initiatives in the state have failed,

I’ll have a lot more to say about the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” in due course after I finish unpacking and catching up with five weeks of snail-mail and other things in the pile, but as an opening generalization it should be said that by passing massive subsidies for wind and solar power, the U.S. has decided to emulate Germany’s energiewende (“energy revolution”) policy that it adopted 20 years ago. It has been a total bust. Emissions reductions in Germany stalled out several years ago, and soaring energy prices (along with dependence on Russian natural gas) now threaten Germany’s entire industrial sector, not to mention a cold winter ahead

Inflation is skyrocketing. Gas prices, despite Old Joe Biden’s crowing about minor reductions, are still substantially higher than they were before his presidency was inflicted upon us. America’s global standing is drastically diminished by Biden’s handlers’ catastrophically botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, due to the lack of preparedness of a politicized military distracted by wokeism. The Southern border is essentially nonexistent, and due to that as well as to the arrival of tens of thousands of unvetted Afghan migrants, there is an unknowable number of criminals and terrorists in the country who would have been kept out by remotely sane immigration policies. Amid all this and much more,

Still, the IRS becoming secret police might no longer be a joke. The page was taken down for problematic copy regarding the special agent positions,
