New York City’s Growing Behavior Gap

It began when Lisa Fulmore called her 20-year-old son, Michael Morgan—who has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a deadly weapon—to fume that McDonald’s workers were being disrespectful toward her over her complaints about cold fries. “I was on the phone with my son. I was like, ‘They in this McDonald’s playing with me,’” she said. Morgan then arrived and, after an argument with a McDonald’s employee, allegedly shot him in the neck and ran off. (Morgan’s girlfriend has also been charged for some as-yet-unrevealed involvement.) Did his mother disapprove of his actions? “My son is just saying that he gotta do what he gotta do

The numbers say it all. Compared to 2013, they have 12% of the convictions this year so far that they had in 2013 for major crimes. For smaller crimes, in 2013, they had " 7,528 convictions for disposed infraction/violation cases. This year, it has gotten 16." Criminals recognize that crime has been essentially legalized. And these violent barbarians, instead of being put in the cages where they belong, a let roam the streets and buildings to beat, shoot and kill at will. Even if arrested, they will be back on the street harming people before the cop can finish filling out the paperwork. No bail, no punishment. No point in even arresting them. You either defend yourself, or you have no defense at all. Since a concealed carry permit was nearly impossible to get, and now is worthless, since ALL public places are prohibited (until the law is struck down), you cannot legally defend yourself, AT ALL. Time to leave.

This is all very scholarly and think-tanky. What we have are a bunch of mostly black people without boundaries who have been bred (I won’t say raised) by others without boundaries, and we are looking at generations of bad behavior. Now that is exacerbated by a liberal black mayor, who himself has a past crimnal record, and a liberal soft on (black) crime black DA. How do the good citizens of NYC get their city back? I do not believe that those who cause the problem are reading scholarly essays.

#3 hits it out if the park. People without fathers and no moral compass that no policy paper can fix. I’ll throw in Hollywood. (Have you seen the programming on BLK and/or WE TV?!) To me, these are conditions of the heart, which begs for a “lord,” other than their selfish desires and base needs. My 4th grade teacher made us memorize Ps 1. EVERYONE had to memorize it. Those words stayed with me and resonate more and more every day. Instead of 10 Commandments, we have a jillion laws, regulations, edicts, and policies. But that’s ok. At least we have “separated” Church and State.

And this children is the blacks hunt each other on hot summer nights. Looking for those that dissed them or family members. Remember, no diss is so small that it does not deserve to be murdered over. If you will shoot someone over cold fries and say "he is doing what he has to do" you are a sick SOB. Until the black community looks in the mirror and admits they are their own worst enemy they have no hope.

Every medium-to-large city in America has been overrun with these ignorant, foul-mouthed, violent, drug-addled welfare scum. And, yes - almost all of them are black. It’s time for every black person in America to kick these pieces of trash to the curb, and stop defending them. Black men under 25 make up about 5% of the population of America. They commit at least 40% of the violent crime. Deal with it, or nothing will change.

People are taught to be civilized. Many people are not. Many people behave in a civilized fashion because they don't want to deal with the consequences. Our entire justice system is a deterrent. Remove that deterrent, defund the police, don't prosecute the offenders, and we all see what happens. Currently this is aimed at the black community, but it would happen elsewhere if deterrents were removed across the board. This is being done to fuel racial strife. It's not just blacks. It's not just NYC.

On Thursday, FBI Director Christopher Wray cut short his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee to fly the FBI's private jet to his family's vacation home. At the hearing, Wray had admitted that disciplinary action against FBI personnel involved in Russiagate abuses had been "slowed down" and refused to call Russiagate a “hoax”. On Monday, President Trump revealed that Mar-a-Lago had been raided by "a large group of FBI agents". Any warrant for such a raid would have been signed off on by Attorney General Merrick Garland and his associates in the Biden administration which expects to face the former president in the next election. What are we to make of 30 or so FBI agents raiding President Trump’s Florida home to collect maybe 35 boxes of records for what is perhaps the Deep State’s 7th or 8th impeachment attempt? First, why no raids on the Democrats who took the jet to Epstein’s pedophile island with its readily available sex with underage girls? Why no raids on Hunter Biden and the apparent crimes documented on the laptop? Why no raids on Hilary Clinton after she destroyed evidence? When the FBI raided Donald Trump’s home on Monday, a key aspect of what made the United States of America great and free has been lost, and likely cannot be recovered. John Adams and Thomas Jefferson detested one another for years before their eventual reconciliation, but neither one used the agencies of the U.S. government to hound, persecute or discredit the other. Other bitter political opponents throughout the history of the republic have never before used the government’s own mechanisms of justice to do injustice to their foes. Joe Biden, Merrick Garland and their henchmen have brought America to a new phase of its history, and it is not likely

TALLAHASSEE - Trulieve, the state's largest medical-marijuana operator, and country-music legends The Bellamy Brothers are backing a proposed constitutional amendment that would allow recreational use of marijuana by people 21 or older. The proposed amendment was filed Monday at the state Division of Elections, with Tallahassee-based Trulieve contributing $5 million to the effort to get the measure on the 2024 ballot. Other multi-state medical marijuana operators also are expected to support the campaign. Florida voters passed a constitutional amendment in 2016 to broadly legalize medical marijuana, and nearly 800,000 patients have been authorized for the treatment. While past recreational-marijuana initiatives in the state have failed,

I’ll have a lot more to say about the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” in due course after I finish unpacking and catching up with five weeks of snail-mail and other things in the pile, but as an opening generalization it should be said that by passing massive subsidies for wind and solar power, the U.S. has decided to emulate Germany’s energiewende (“energy revolution”) policy that it adopted 20 years ago. It has been a total bust. Emissions reductions in Germany stalled out several years ago, and soaring energy prices (along with dependence on Russian natural gas) now threaten Germany’s entire industrial sector, not to mention a cold winter ahead

Inflation is skyrocketing. Gas prices, despite Old Joe Biden’s crowing about minor reductions, are still substantially higher than they were before his presidency was inflicted upon us. America’s global standing is drastically diminished by Biden’s handlers’ catastrophically botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, due to the lack of preparedness of a politicized military distracted by wokeism. The Southern border is essentially nonexistent, and due to that as well as to the arrival of tens of thousands of unvetted Afghan migrants, there is an unknowable number of criminals and terrorists in the country who would have been kept out by remotely sane immigration policies. Amid all this and much more,

Everyone can sense that the political situation we find ourselves in is anything but normal. Yet the language we use to describe current conflicts is a language designed to frame them in the category of politics as usual - only perhaps more so. In speaking about current conflicts, we focus on the surface “issues” that divide us – a record inflation, off-the-charts crime waves in our urban centers, a humanitarian crisis at our southern border. Sometimes we sum it up as a double standard in the justice system that treats violent leftists as “peaceful protesters” and public school parents concerned about the abuse of their children as “domestic terrorists.”

On Monday evening, the FBI took the unprecedented step of raiding the home of former President Donald Trump. What were they looking for? Astonishingly, what is being leaked to the media is that they were after documents that possibly violated the Presidential Records Act. Far from their promises of proving some grand conspiracy involving January 6th, it appears the Democrats, using the power of the nation’s federal law enforcement apparatus, are trying to take Donald Trump out with selective enforcement of provisions that are normally handled in a civil, not criminal manner. Where have we seen that before? None of this is a coincidence, and none of it is justified.
