You’ve probably heard or read about the Western attempt to suborn Russian pilots to defect along with a military plane or planes. Friend George brought a Russian article to my attention. It’s a fairly full account, so I’m pasting it in. As you may or may not have learned already, the effort backfired totally, with the Russians obtaining valuable intelligence regarding the location of air defenses in Ukraine.
