A 104-page report issued three months after the events at the Capitol Building on Jan. 6, 2021, said the Capitol Police’s Civil Disturbance Unit (CDU) was ordered by supervisors not to use “heavier, less-lethal weapons,” like flash bangs. A read of the detailed article reveals that the various reports on Ashli Babbitt’s murder reported “shots fired” at substantially varied times. Even murderer Byrd’s own report included thw time when he “heard” shots fired, although he was the only one who fired a weapon. And his time varied from the others. The reports by officerfs were not filed on January 6.

OP, you are correct, a very detailed report. An awful lot of inconsistencies between the official reports by the officers mentioned in the article, but the best one is how McKenna didn't sign his report until June 9 2021, but his supervising officer signed that very same document 5 months EARLIER on Jan 7 2021. Hmmmm.... I do have a question, which law enforcement agency had actual jurisdiction? I get that at the Capitol Building they Capitol Police would be the main LE agency, but at what point do the DC metro police start?

So much of what we're told about January 6 makes no sense. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund resigned the day after the "insurrection," but in reading the letter he wrote to Congressional Leadership, we learn that multiple agencies failed to provide intelligence indicating the events would unfold with the violence and coordination evident throughout that day. The letter provides a timeline of events. He documents multiple calls requesting deployment of the National Guard, as well as the bureaucratic delays that prevented it from helping the police until late in the afternoon, hours after help was desperately requested. Letter linked below. He wrote that "...nothing in our collective experience or our intelligence – including intelligence provided by FBI, Secret Service, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and D.C. Metropolitan Police (MPD) – indicated that a well-coordinated, armed assault on the Capitol might occur on January 6." So other agencies dropped the ball. How did that happen? How is it possible a well organized (and well funded) attack involving thousands of people went unnoticed and unreported to the Capitol Police by the above intelligence agencies. He wrote that at 12:52 a pipe bomb was located near the Capitol grounds. He wrote that "At almost the exactly same time, we observed a large group of individuals approaching the West Front of the Capitol." He continues "When the group arrived at the perimeter, they did not act like any group of protestors I had ever seen. Unlike other heated protests, these protesters did not simply congregate to angrily voice their grievances. As soon as this group arrived at our perimeter, they immediately began to fight violently with the officers and to tear apart the steel crowd control barriers, using them to assault the officers. It was immediately clear that their primary goal was to defeat our perimeter as quickly as possible and to get past the police line. This mob was like nothing I have seen in my law enforcement career. The group consisted of thousands of well-coordinated, well-equipped violent criminals. They had weapons, chemical munitions, protective equipment, explosives, and climbing gear. A number of them were wearing radio ear pieces indicating a high level of coordination." I'm wondering how many of the folks arrested for their participation on January 6 were carrying weapons, radio ear pieces, climbing gear, etc. I have no reason to doubt Mr. Sund's account. His claims can all be checked, including any messages from the FBI and other agencies that show they didn't pick up on such a well funded scheme. Where did the money come from, and who organized all of those people? Letter_to_Congressional_leaders_02012021.pdf

COVID-19 ‘State of Emergency’ Keeps

This week Angelenos got some good news when the county health director announced that, for now, she will not subject them to another indoor mask mandate. But the announcement begs the question: How is it that she continues to have the power to issue such mandates nearly two and a half years after the emergency was first declared? The answer is the “emergency” order remains in place, and so does the director’s mandate that masks be worn in taxis, Ubers, airports, and healthcare settings. Los Angeles County first declared a state of emergency due to COVID-19 on March 4, 2020.

You’ve probably heard or read about the Western attempt to suborn Russian pilots to defect along with a military plane or planes. Friend George brought a Russian article to my attention. It’s a fairly full account, so I’m pasting it in. As you may or may not have learned already, the effort backfired totally, with the Russians obtaining valuable intelligence regarding the location of air defenses in Ukraine. The Russians have also, naturally, taken advantage of the situation to ridicule Western intel services, specifically naming MI6.(snip)This is a Google translate job, so I can’t vouch for the word choices—some are a bit suspect, although the overall accuracy seems good.

Two more Texas counties confirmed they have declared an invasion at the U.S.–Mexico border in recent days amid historically high illegal immigration. The Parker County Commissioners Court unanimously voted this week to invoke a law to say that the United States and Texas are under invasion, local media reported. Because of the significant presence of illegal immigration and drug trafficking, the declaration says it is “an invasion of Parker County, Texas, as the term ‘invasion’ is used in Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution and in Article 4, Section 7 of the Texas Constitution.”

The FBI analyst is hardly a household name, but whistleblowers who contacted the office of GOP senator Chuck Grassley say he was behind an August 2020 report that FBI officials used as part of a "scheme…to undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation." Auten’s report also caused the FBI "to cease" investigative activity into the younger Biden, according to a letter Grassley sent the Justice Department and FBI.
