DC homeless shelters are filling up with
migrants from Arizona and Texas Mayor
Muriel Bowser claims as she hits back

migrants to nation's capital rather than

Washington, D.C.'s homeless shelters are filling up because Texas Governor Greg Abbott is sending busloads of migrants from his state to the nation's capital, Mayor Muriel Bowser claimed Sunday morning. The D.C. mayor is requesting that Abbott stop preventing migrants from getting to their final destinations. Arizona's Governor Doug Ducey followed Abbott's lead earlier this summer as they both started sending migrants from their respective states to D.C. to take some of the load off of the migration crisis hitting border states. Due to this initiative, homeless shelters in the nation's capital are starting to cap out with these asylum-seekers.

They need to ship lots of them to the Hamptons, Martha's Vineyard, northern Virginia, Massachusetts, and many other liberal strongholds so the libs can get a taste of their own policies up close and real. They want to dump them on the American people, which likely doesn't include the listed state and areas.

Please stop using the stupid term ''migrant''. They are illegal aliens. They are not migrating. Human beings are not migratory. If they were migrating, they would be traveling back and forth based on the seasons. They are coming here to live in a modern 1st world country rather than a backwards third world hell hole. It is much easier to leave than to fix their own countries. Their claiming asylum is a way to game the bureaucratic system. An asylum claim means that they are not immediately returned across the border but are given a court date to adjudicate their claim. They could have requested asylum from the US consulate in their own country or from the first safe country that they enter. Instead, they enter the US illegally and if caught they claim asylum.

But, but DC worked so hard to become a shining example of the 'sanctuary city' and all they have to show for it is homeless shelters filled with international trough feeders looking for the US government teat. The whole DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area is getting exactly what the lefties fought so hard to obtain; another permanent underclass that is totally dependent on government to provide their every whim. Immigrant hordes will now contend for the unskilled jobs that the existing, DMV resident underclass can't or won't do. Lefties are so blind to reality.

The coloring of America would transform politics in the Democrats’ favor for a long time. In the 20 years since, no such majority has materialized. Is it stalled or stillborn? Is the Democrat Party, instead, becoming an incredibly shrinking party lorded over by privileged, progressive whites?
