The carnage at Netflix keeps getting worse. On Tuesday, the far left-wing streamer revealed that it lost close to 1 million subscribers in the second quarter â the largest quarterly loss of customers in the companyâs history.
Still, shares of Netflix jumped more than 10 percent in after-hours trading because the bad news wasnât half as bad as investors had expected.
Netflix reported 970,000 customers quit the service during the quarter, a continuation of the mass subscriber exodus that began earlier this year. Netflix had forecast a net loss of 2 million subscribers for the second quarter, while analysts were expecting a loss of 1.4 million to 1.8 million.

Seems like every movie on Netflix is 'up with sexual deviancy, down with heterosexuality,' the queerer the actors and stories, the better. I saw a movie about fossil hunting along the Cornish coast. It turned into an episode of butt wrangling etc. by two women. Yuck!

There are a couple of programs I'm waiting for - the third season of "Derry Girls," and the final season of "The Crown." After that, my subscription gets cancelled. I've already gone to the cheapest subscription.

Well they already have the fix in mind. They'll raise money by promoting ads. That should do it. Have a streaming service that's failing add commercials. Yep, that'll work.

Netflix is old and their programming is no longer worth the cost. There is a lot of competition. They arenât keeping up. I personally like Discovery+ but to each their own.

There is only one thing left to do. Make a series portraying George Washington as a black Muslim lesbian battling the evil southern plantation owners and returning US governance to England.

I am waiting for The Crown and The Great British Baking Show. Meanwhile, I watch Forged in Fire and Swap Shop and some other baking shows. I've been very disappointed in some of the highly touted movies and series and I have had it up to my eyeballs with the gay and trans all over the network.

Netflix tried to float a show entitled He's Pregnant. No thanks. And the Obamas were paid a king's ransom by the network to produce a series of politicized documentaries. Neither am I interested in anything that appeals to them. They went along with Netflix. Bad decision all around.

You think this is bad, the networks are preparing to flood the fall with many new woke shows. Called Dish to complain and got a major runaround. My next call will be to cancel that too.

#1, it maybe a flesh wound but Netflix is tanking everyday. This what they get when they employee the Obamas and Susan Rice. I hope Netflix tanks so bad that all three lose their jobs.

I had a 30-day free trial kept it for two days and pulled the plug. There wasn't a movie on there for me. Turner classics is all I watch on Dish along with GRIT tv with old westerns other channels have too many black commercials for me to sit still to watch. Let the blacks and gays patronize the products with their support since I'm not in the target group. I now get all my summary news from YouTube.

FTA: spent a reported $30 million per episode on the fourth season of Stranger Things.
Seriously!? I don't see how those episodes cost that much money. 'Stranger Things' is one of the few shows on Netflix we really enjoyed, the first 3 seasons were great but the 4th was only so-so.
As for Netflix in general, there aren't any "must see" shows for us right now. There are a handful of shows on our watch list, mostly older network shows we never watched the first time around, shows from the pre-work era of TV.

I remember the family and I were excited to try out the new streaming service so we signed up for Netflix back in 2010. They were good but as with most corporations they got too big for their britches and went woke. The fact that they had the movie Cuties, the hiring of leftist dullards like the Obamas, Susan Rice and Harry the clown and his wife the MEG did it for me. I cancelled two years ago and don't miss them at all.

Like #8, I expect to see accuracy in news reports that I read. The facts in this piece are simply incorrect. Netflix's second quarter profit came in at $1.4 billion, up from $1.3 billion in the year-earlier quarter. Revenue has jumped roughly 8.6% year over year, to $7.9 billion.
investors were clearly happy with the results, and Netflix shares jumped as much as 8% on Tuesday in after-hours trading. Subscriber loss in the US is offset by increased subscriptions elsewhere.
Investors were watching closely and were pleased with the Netflix projection that it will see growth in the third quarter. Using the sensational word "carnage" to apply to yesterday's Netflix news is nothing but fake news. Netflix and all streamers have an uphill climb, but we could demand correct and factual information in conservative sources as well.

This falls under the category of power and control...personally speaking...NO ONE tells me what to watch and woke movies are not on my agenda...and based on the success of Tom Cruis' action...all American film...Top Gun Maverick...I think Americans are waking up...my personal library of films is always at my disposal...and I unplug the cable and watch my library of films that I choose to watch...that includes..."Gone With The Wind"...that government regulators tried to censor because of the reference to slavery...and then there's Dr. Suess's fun filled stories...still makes me laugh..."one fish...two fish...red fish...blue fish".....if the woke community want to be unhappy...I say...let them...

Netflix isn't all that expensive, but it's still a luxury. Therefore, it's one of the things that people will cut from their budgets, since they can get pretty good entertainment for free from several non-pay sites. Besides, Netflix being woke doesn't help its cause.

While I agree with the replies disliking woke and pedo shows, they are abhorren. I should cancel Netflix, but I just like no commercials. Also, I don't know what streaming network is better. I did like Gifted Hands & Hustle lately. Some I've tried to watch have been tedious and boring.

We gave up Netflix years ago. I could tell where it was headed.
Then we switched our cell-phone service to T-Mobile and there was a single screen, low-definition subscription to Netflix included. I looked at it. a lot of the flagrantly homo stuff no longer pops up to the top. It is there, but you have to look for it.
They've really backed up on the leftism.
