The Church of England refused to offer up a definition of a woman, arguing that recent developments required "additional care" when attempting to define the word. (snip) The comments sparked widespread criticism, with GB News personality Calvin Robinson arguing that offering a definition should not be difficult. "The definition of ‘woman’ is not a complex moral problem," he said. "It is a scientific and biblical truth. How can you trust someone who cannot speak the truth about such basic facts?"

These churchmen represent man, not God. Their supposed theology is based on spurious reasoning, not the illuminating Word of God.

Yes #2. Today’s Church of England seems to function more as an appendage of a woke government in the UK. They provide the elegant backdrop for various Royal events but even at those, it is the Royal establishment that is obviously more honored than the Lord Jesus Christ. I would assume the Archbishop of Canterbury had a hand in encouraging Queen Elizabeth to change her title “Defender of the Faith” to “Defender of the faiths.” This significant and blasphemous “change” was barely noticed except by a very few bold pastors. This ridiculous stand by the church leaders will unfortunately also pass with little outrage.

The Church of England was made up by Henry VIII in order to get around the Pope regarding Ann Boleyn. Yes, I am glad he dumped the Catholics as a majority religion in that country, but I don't consider the CoE anything more than Churchian. They stopped being moral leaders decades ago.

Fewer Americans than ever say that they believe that the Bible should be taken literally, while a record number of Americans now say they view the holy book as a compilation of "fables, legends, history and moral precepts recorded by man," according to a Gallup poll. One in five Americans surveyed said the Bible is the "actual word of God, to be taken literally," about half off from the high point in 1984. The survey also shows that as fewer Americans are ranking religion as "very important," the number of those who believe the Bible came directly from God decreases.
