We call it "messaging perfection" when you can cross an invisible line and make several unassailable points that the anti-liberty left can't touch without resorting to childish insults. If you haven't seen the ad, here it is in all its glory: Aside from quibbling over the loading of just 28 rounds into a 30-round magazine and a spotless kitchen that puts us to shame, the advert is perfect in that it takes on the far left's gun confiscation agenda head-on with a bit of history. It's a one-two punch of perfection that inspired YouTuber Johnny B' to say that he laughed until he cried when watching it.

The Maryland State Police saw a spike in interest for concealed carry permits after Gov. Larry Hogan ordered the agency to drop the restriction that applicants show a “good and substantial reason” to carry a pistol.
MSP spokesperson Elena Russo told The Washington Times Wednesday that “there’s been an increase in phone calls and applications” for concealed carry permits since the U.S. Supreme Court last month struck down “good cause” type provisions in eight “may issue” states, such as Maryland.
“The Maryland State Police Licensing Division reminds citizens a wear and carry permit is still required before you can legally carry a regulated firearm on your person,” Ms. Russo said
Most of us would agree with many of the aspects of Western leftists’ utopian objectives: A world at peace, disease, and starvation eradicated, and humanity living in harmony with Mother Nature. It all sounds wonderful, no doubt.
Just about every person on the planet would love to see an end to war, though once established utopia may look very different depending on one’s views on religion and governments’ roles. Seeing an end to global hunger and sickness has been a common goal of societies for all of human history [snip]

Calls have rung out across the nation demanding gun control laws in a bid to curb violent crimes such as the recent series of mass shootings. Data, however, show that in states with higher percentages of households with at least one gun, crimes are not higher than in states with strict gun laws.

A 34-year-old Colorado man is recovering after he was gored by a bison Monday at Yellowstone National Park.
According to park officials, he was walking on a boardwalk with his family near the Old Faithful geyser.
The group reportedly did not leave the area when a bison charged at them.
The bull bison continued to charge and gored the man, causing injury to his arm.
He was transported by ambulance to a hospital.
Park officials say the matter is under investigation, but language in the news release suggests the man was too close to the bison.

World War II Medal of Honor recipient Herschel Woodrow Williams has entered the hospital, and his family is requesting prayers "as he lives out his last days."
Williams, 98, is the last surviving World War II veteran to have received the Medal of Honor. Williams received the award for his heroism during the battle of Iwo Jima in 1945. Williams' family is at his side in a West Virginia hospital, according to local media.

Atty. Gen. Rob Bonta has advised California law enforcement agencies that the “good cause” requirement for issuing a concealed weapons permit is likely unconstitutional and should no longer be used.

Vice President Kamala Harris would defeat Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in a hypothetical 2024 presidential match-up, according to a new poll, but the race would be extremely close.
A poll from the Harvard University Center for American Political Studies (CAPS) has found that Harris enjoys 39 support to the Republican governor's 37 percent in a theoretical contest. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has tested positive for COVID, his office said Sunday. “As a part of his regular testing regimen, Leader Schumer received a positive test result for COVID-19,” said Angelo Roefaro, a spokesman for the Democrat senator from New York.
Schumer, 71, is fully vaccinated, double boosted and experiencing “very mild symptoms,” according to his office. A female US Army soldier took to TikTok to question her loyalty to the United States after the Supreme Court's reversal of Roe v. Wade. "How am I supposed to wake up every day and put on a freaking uniform that says United States Army when the United States doesn't even give a rat's ass about me," the soldier said.
