The Walt Disney Company has given us a multitude of justifications for canceling our Disney Plus subscriptions, throwing away our Lion King DVDs, and pledging to never spend another nickel with the increasingly far-left wokesters controlling the once-great corporation. There has never been a company more worthy of the mantra: Go Woke, Go Broke. But regarding the patronizing of one of their key revenue streams, Disney World, there’s another reason we can add to the growing list motivating us to stay away.
That reason comes not from anyone at Disney itself, but rather from the government running the show in the city which Disney World calls home: Orlando, Florida.

Some years ago we took a dear friend to Disneyworld (who nearly fainted when she saw the prices). The lines were ridiculous and everywhere you looked, Disney was hocking made-in-China products. It was such a disappoint. We haven’t been back.

Go to Holiday World and Splashin' Safari in Indiana or Dollywood in Tennessee. Both are lots of fun, cost less than Disney World and will not try and trans your children.

All you need to know to hate Disney is the scene from the latest Dr. Strange movie just released on Disney+. Strange and his sidekick kid get transported to another dimension. The kid takes food from a street vendor without paying. The vendor objects. So Strange casts a spell to have the vendor beat himself senseless for three weeks. And you're supposed to laugh at that. Because nothing is funnier to Disney Marxists than middle age white men getting pummeled because they don't like people taking their stuff. So subversive. So un-American. And so not talked about by anybody because hating Whitey is the last socially acceptable bigotry.

Hubby and I were talking last night about Disney World and how we had wanted to go see it. We have been to Disneyland a few times went the kids were younger. He was adamant that we would never go to Disney anything ever again.

Someone needs to point out that the Mayor of Orlando is Jerry Demings the husband of Val Demings the Democrat running against Marco Rubio. Val is running as the former Orlando police chief (12 years ago she was) instead of running as a 12 year Congressperson who supported 100% of Pelosi's radical leftist / Marxist agenda. Thank goodness Biden did not pick her as VP. She is anti-American and a liar.

WDW isn't in Orlando, it's in Lake Buena Vista. So while there may be several good reasons to boycott Disney, punishing them for the offensive comments by a city 20 miles up the Interstate isn't one of them. Geography matters. Try again.

Before moving due to living costs and a poor job market, I lived in Florida my whole life. But the last time I went to Disney World was 1985 with college chums, when Ronald Reagan was there to celebrate a late inauguration, and I got a photo as he rode by with Nancy. Never again.
It's not surprising that Orlando has gone woke and nasty, with all the transplants from blue hellholes (and not just NY/NJ), and Disney just reflects the place. Hot, expensive, congested, self-absorbed, and not worth your time, especially if you have little ones; they don't need to be exposed to the whitewashed cultural rot dressed up in bright costumes.
The good news is that there are many other better places in FL, if you take time to look; there are family friendly spots in the Tampa area, and outside ORL too, for a much lower price. Save your $$$ and check out the rest of the country as well. Let's not subsidize our own demise.

Apparently lots and lots of the 77,000 employees who work at Disney World are probably 90% leftists and have effectively taken over the local area for the left. If you assume 2/3rd of them have families, they could represent easily 150 - 200,000 people altogether. Orlando total population is around 300,000.

I do not "boycott" anything. A boycott indicates a temporary stoppage of support for something until they make changes the way you want them.
No, if you make me mad enough to stop supporting you, you have lost me for life. I am not coming back no matter what. I haven't watched a down of the NFL in probably 6 years now, and never will again (after being a huge fan for probably 50 years before that). I will walk barefoot in the dead of winter over broken glass before Dick's Sporting Goods ever sees another penny from me. The Dixie Chicks will never be played on any music device I have control over as long as I live.
And Disney will never see another dime from me. I don't support pervert child groomers!!!!!
