From the category of “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up” comes this story from over the weekend. Admit it, watching poetic justice hit a pompous Biden Administration official squarely in the face can’t help but make you smile. Airlines across the country, like just about every other industry in America, have been struggling for over a year now to properly staff their operations. They just can’t get enough people to come work for them, and with the employees that they have hired, they’re experiencing high levels of absenteeism. And there are several reasons why. We have the Biden Administration’s “American Rescue Plan” which provided handouts

Comments:

And Democrats actually take this guy seriously. He's a complete clown.

I’m disappointed the article didn’t mention airline employees being fired if they didn’t get the experimental gene therapy shot. Surely that’s the biggest contributing factor.

It childish to think you can command industries to hire more people when (a) the people need to be qualified first and (b) the qualified people need to be willing to come to work. Our Buddy Pete doesn't seem to understand that. He needs to return to South Bend, Indiana.

Is he upset because he missed the Gay Pride Parade in NYC? Did he miss the naked guys wearing only leather chaps dancing on the floats? The consequences of government actions during Covid and failed Biden administration policies has caused this problem with mandated vaccines, mask mandates, high fuel prices, reduced demand causing layoffs, an now former employees not wanting to come back to work. Look in the mirror Petey, and you will see the cause for the airline problems.

Tens of thousands of voters who helped Democrats install President Joe Biden in the White House are now happily switching to Republicans, voter registration analysis released Monday shows. More than one million voters across 43 states have switched to the Republican Party in the past 12 months alone, ballot intentions compiled by the Associated Press (AP) shows. A broad swathe of regions in the country – big and small, urban and rural – report the same phenomenon. Nowhere is the switch more visible, according to AP analysis, than in suburban counties stretching across Denver to Atlanta, Pittsburgh and Cleveland.

Failure to ensure the rule of law results in lawlessness, and soft-on-crime, leftist policies yield skyrocketing violent crime rates. On the West Coast, San Francisco may be leading the league in this phenomenon, but other cities such as Los Angeles, Seattle, and Portland aren’t far behind. In the Midwest, Chicago is the undisputed champion, though St. Louis and Milwaukee appear hellbent on giving them a run for their money. But what about the East Coast? New York’s new mayor Eric Adams has done his best to continue with predecessor Bill DeBlasio’s horrendous policies, as crime continues to surge in the Big Apple.

Voters in several states nationwide head to the polls in primaries and in a special general congressional election in Texas on Tuesday, further testing former President Donald Trump’s endorsement strength and perhaps foreshadowing a looming red wave in November. Primaries in South Carolina, Nevada, Maine, and North Dakota take center stage on Tuesday night, as does a special congressional general election in Texas. In South Carolina, two hotly contested congressional primaries have Trump facing off against incumbent Republicans.

It would be difficult to blame someone for assuming that the phenomenon known as Trump Derangement Syndrome had calmed down. It was a bizarre affliction to begin with, after all, with leftists losing their minds every time candidate and former President Donald Trump offered a conflicting opinion or mildly offensive tweet. Additionally, Mr. Trump has been out of office for almost seventeen months now, and aside from his recent flurry of endorsements for various candidates in primary elections across the country, he has been relatively quiet… by Trump standards.

The Democratic Party needs America’s racial minorities to vote for their candidates. It’s the foundation of their entire electoral strategy: Exploit white guilt by targeting college-educated white folks and preaching about privilege. Ensure loyalty from unionized blue-collar workers by bad-mouthing the wealthy and stirring up the envious emotions that accompany class warfare. Instill a sense of victimhood in non-Christians and the LGBTQ community. And, at all costs, make sure that racial minorities – particularly blacks and Hispanics – are Democrat devotees by demonizing your opponents. It’s a strategy that has served them well for years.

Boudin, who was recalled by a 60%-40% margin as of Wednesday morning’s latest vote count, is Gascón’s ideological ally. In fact, Gascón — funded by left-wing billionaire George Soros in the 2020 election — donated $100,000 to Boudin from his political action committee.

The politicization of the United States Supreme Court has been escalating for decades, going back at least as far as the 1987 nomination of Robert Bork by President Ronald Reagan. Since that time, confirmation battles such as those of Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh, along with hyper enthusiasm for scores of case decisions have seemingly ramped up in intensity. Yet, perhaps nothing is more illustrative of the impact of outside pressures on the court, and the underlying tension affecting its members and their underlings, than the leaked court opinion from Justice Samuel Alito that came to light a month ago.

Just 35 percent, for example, approve of his handling of the economy, reflecting a three-point drop in the last month. As a comparison, 56 percent approved of former President Donald Trump’s handling of the economy right has he departed office in January 2021:

The United States—long a beacon to reproductive rights activists in Latin America—will now start to resemble those countries without Roe’s guarantee of a right to legally access abortion, say campaigners. For activists in places such as El Salvador, where abortion is entirely banned, and Venezuela, where there exists on the statute an exception to save the life of a woman though in practice is equally criminal, the decades-long success of campaigners in the US was often an inspiration.
