If you listen to the mainstream media you will know that from time to time spontaneous peaceful protests break out in the nation focused on various social issues. You will also know that Antifa is largely a fiction of the ‘delusional right’ and that the real threat to the nation comes from a vast right-wing conspiracy driven by white supremacists.
In short, you will know nothing. (Snip) What we saw in the infamous “summer of love” was the work of a nationwide network of highly organized anarchist and Marxist groups with the express purpose of destroying the nation as we know it. Their actions are meticulously planned and well supported.

The quality of evidence for the FDA's emergency use authorization (EUA) of COVID-19 vaccines for children as young as 6 months is drawing scrutiny from high-profile doctors and academics, some of whom are asking the White House not to pressure parents to vaccinate.
With CDC seroprevalence data from February finding 75% of minors had natural immunity, more attention is going to the risk/benefit calculation of vaccines for the age group at lowest risk from COVID.
Parents on the fence may find their hesitancy reaffirmed by new studies, not yet peer-reviewed, on the COVID infection fatality rate (IFR) by age and underlying health conditions and "serious adverse events of interest" following

ABIM contacted Dr. Peter McCullough in a letter dated May 26, 2022 notifying him he is accused of spreading misinformation and started an investigation to remove his board certification.
Senator Ron Johnson heard about the letter and sent a letter dated June 15 to Dr. Richard Baron, President & CEO of the ABIM where he politely offered to host an expert panel of doctors in Washington DC to resolve what the science actually says, similar to the widely popular “A second opinion” panel he hosted, but this time with scientists on both sides.
Note that Johnson’s original panel invited scientists on all sides but nobody was willing to support

Editor’s note: In these exclusive excerpts from the book “Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words,” out Tuesday, author Michael Pack asks the Supreme Court justice about the influence of his maternal grandfather. (Snip) Pack: What happened on the other end, when you showed up to your grandparents’ house?
Thomas: My grandfather was this myth. We saw him maybe once or twice when we lived on the West Side. He was very stern. And he sat us there at the kitchen table and he said, “Boys, the damn vacation is over.” He said from then on it was going to be “rules and regulations and manners and behavior.”

Social media is mostly garbage. (Snip) But every once in a while, between the hashtags and the hysteria, a jewel presents itself.
Like Cole Summers.
I never met Cole Summers in real life. But I was completely floored by what I learned about him—and from him—online.
At first, to be honest, I worried this kid was just too good to be true.
Here’s what I mean: When he was six, Cole—whose family owns a farm in Beryl, Utah—started taking on the repair and maintenance for his family’s vehicles. Both of his parents are disabled: his father is a wheelchair-bound veteran; his mother is partially blind.

“All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The Communist Party must command all the guns; that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party.”
The quote was from Mao Zedong, founder of Communist China. Mao’s first act after gaining complete control of China in 1949 was to take away all guns from the population. It was a policy he began in 1935 as he took over each rural province. Anyone found with a gun post-confiscation was executed.
An estimated 65 million Chinese died as a result of Mao’s repeated, merciless attempts to create a new “socialist” China.

Joe Biden is letting one of the largest illegal migrant caravans in history move into the U.S., with no effort to stop it.
Texas's governor, Greg Abbott, isn't.
According to a very interesting report by Todd Bensman of the Center for Immigration Studies, the record-sized 15,000-strong caravan has run into interference from the Texas governor, and his counterpart in the adjacent Mexican state of Coahuila, who had the foresight to sign an agreement in April about border security. Bensman writes:

Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the reestablishment of the Florida State Guard and touted it as a refuge for United States military service members who have been discharged for not complying with COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
“There are opportunities where people still want to serve, but they want to serve based on their conscience,” DeSantis said while speaking at the American Legion outpost in Madeira Beach on Wednesday.
The Republican governor blasted President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for “hurting good order and discipline” within the country’s military.
(Snip) DeSantis also slammed the federal government for not increasing the number of National Guardsmen to reflect a growing population,

The potential for far-right Republicans to reshape the election systems of major battleground states is growing much closer to reality.
As the halfway point nears of a midterm year that is vastly friendlier to Republicans, the party’s voters have nominated dozens of candidates for offices with power over the administration and certification of elections who have spread falsehoods about the 2020 presidential contest and sowed distrust in American democracy.
The only way to restore trust, these candidates say, is by electing them.
In Michigan, Pennsylvania and now Nevada, Republican voters have elevated candidates who owe their political rise to their amplification of doubts about Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory,

As the mournful notes of the cello brought the four minutes of The Dying Swan to a close at The Hague on January 24, 1931, the audience was in tears. Throughout the performance, there had been no dancer — only a moving spotlight emphasizing the absence of Anna Pavlova, the ballerina the world loved. (Snip)
For Soviet émigrés of the time, the empty stage, the melancholic music, and the spotlight sans performer were poignant symbols of the hundreds of thousands of "liternoye" killings — secret, disguised liquidations staged as natural deaths or suicides — ordered by Joseph Stalin. His targets were not just rivals in the USSR,

Thursday evening's disgraceful spectacle concocted by congressional Democrats and the media will go down in history -- but not in the way they intended.
Far from shocking Americans with “new” testimony from a visibly terrified Ivanka Trump or a know-nothing Capitol police officer who described the Jan. 6 confrontations as “a war scene,” which it most certainly was not, Thursday's spectacle only reinforced the national divide between Trump supporters and the Democrats and the media elites.
Even Democrat strategists and media commentators admit that the hearings are not aimed at changing public opinion. "Instead, the committee's work is most clearly aimed at the top brass at the Department of Justice

I thought it would be fun.
That's what I told my friend Mack when I asked her to drive with me from New Orleans to Chicago and back in an electric car.
I'd made long road trips before, surviving popped tires, blown headlights and shredded wheel-well liners in my 2008 Volkswagen Jetta. I figured driving the brand-new Kia EV6 I'd rented would be a piece of cake.
If, that is, the public-charging infrastructure cooperated. We wouldn't be the first to test it.
Comments:
It's about time there is serious questioning. It seems that vaxes for under-five-year-olds is a bridge too far for some medical professionals, including a bunch of nurses who quit rather than give them. I question why it took this latest approval for so many objections to come up when young people have been dropping dead "unexpectedly" since they have been getting shot up with these dishonestly approved experimental drugs.
