Republican pundits and conservative activists are debating whether they can win in 2024 with the successful Trump agenda, but without the controversial former President Donald Trump as their nominee. The Democrats have a similar, but far more serious dilemma with President Joe Biden as the Democratic Party's nominee in 2024. Unlike the Trump Administration's successful four years, Biden's tenure has been an utter disaster. There are no policy offsets to the personal liabilities and unpopularity of Biden himself.

Thousands of protesters took to the streets on Friday night to express their anger at the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade - the 50-year law that guaranteed access to abortion in every state.
In New York City, a crowd thousands strong massed in Union Square and Washington Square Park, and then marched up Park Avenue. The crowd massed on Grand Central station, before walking past it and continuing through the Upper East Side.
In Washington DC, Union Square was the site of demonstrations, while protesters from Boston to Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit and Los Angeles marched in fury.
On Thursday, Joe Biden flashed for the cameras a comical presidential “cheat sheet” that proved just how stage-managed the 79-year-old is by his staff.
Besides instructing him to remember to say “hello” and “thank you,” it emphasized basic steps such as “YOU take YOUR seat.”
Thanks to a White House mole, The Post was able to smuggle a new cheat sheet into Biden’s jacket pocket when he was taking a quick nap in the Oval Office.

Protesters are planning demonstrations outside the home of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas on Friday night, after he revealed he now has laws protecting gay marriage, gay sexual activity and contraception in his sights, after axing Roe v. Wade.
Following Friday's landmark decision, Thomas called on his fellow jurists to overturn previous rulings that followed similar legal precedent.
The prospective law changes, released in a concurring opinion of the decision penned by Thomas, would see limits put on gay marriage, same-sex sexual activity, and citizens' access to birth control.
The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision allowing states to ban abortion stirred alarm Friday among LGBTQ advocates, who feared that the ruling could someday allow a rollback of legal protections for gay relationships, including the right for same-sex couples to marry.
In the court’s majority opinion overturning the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, Justice Samuel Alito said the decision applied only to abortion. But critics of the court’s conservative majority gave the statement no credence.

Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) announced Friday that she would prioritize legislation permitting abortion across the country following the Dobbs v. Jackson Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade.
“In the wake of this ruling, it is up to Congress to respond,” wrote Murkowski, vowing that she would continue “to work with a broader group to restore women’s freedom to control their own health decisions wherever they live.”
She added: “Legislation to accomplish that must be a priority.”
Former President Clinton is slamming the Supreme Court’s ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade, saying it contributes to putting “democracy at risk” and calling the high court “radical” and “activist.”
“This decision puts partisanship ahead of precedent, ideology ahead of evidence, and the power of a small minority ahead of the clear will of the people,” Clinton said in a statement on Friday.

As noted by WBRC, “The law made performing an abortion at any stage of pregnancy a felony unless the mother’s health was in danger. It did not provide any exceptions for rape or incest.” However, a preliminary injunction was imposed against the ban.
The Catholic Bishops of New York issued a statement Friday on the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, declaring that the historic ruling “will save countless innocent children simply waiting to be born.”
“We give thanks to God for today’s decision of the United States Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization,” reads the statement, signed by Cardinal Timothy Dolan and seven of his brother bishops from New York state.
In their statement, the bishops express their gratitude to “the millions of heroic Americans who have worked tirelessly toward this outcome for nearly a half-century” and who have been “a charitable and compelling voice for the voiceless.”
