Is Abortion ‘Murder’?

Original Article

Many of those who are passionately pro-life use the term “murder” as their descriptor of abortion. It isn’t. At least not yet. “Murder” is generally defined in America as the intentional killing of one human being by another. And “first degree murder” is defined as the intentional killing of one human being by another with premeditation—that is, with an intent to kill the victim. Abortions clearly meet these objective criteria for first degree murder, except that abortion is a legally protected circumstance of premeditated killing. The “pro-choice” zealots will immediately become unhinged when one uses “murder” as a synonym for abortion,

Comments:

Homicide vs. murder? Interesting argument! Either way, it drives the pro-abort crowd even more insane, so it's fine with me!

The real nature of a thing or action is not dependent on human laws or technology. (Hence the absurdity of the view that the mother's desire determines the answer -- that if she wants the baby, it's a life, and if she doesn't want the baby, it's not a life. For starters, every time she changes her mind, the fundamental nature of the baby changes. It's a life, it's not a life, it's a life, etc... Totally ridiculous.) Some who get abortions sincerely disbelieve that the baby constitutes a life, meaning they aren't strictly guilty of murder, but perhaps the broader definition of murder given by Jesus in the Gospel. But some who are 'pro-choice' do concede that the baby is a life, and still believe the special circumstances of that life being inside the mother's body present a unique condition in which she should have the choice of whether to terminate its life or not. I would classify abortions obtained by such women as murder, but it would have to be up to God to judge whether is merits a fiery Gehenna or not..

This is the most rational article I have seen on the issue. It cites existing precedent that establishes an unborn as a person with rights, something pro-abortionists refuse to acknowledge, The Supreme Court's official opinion on the Dobbs Case is to be released very soon, perhaps as early as tomorrow. I expect pro-abortion violence even though it will NOT make abortion illegal but merely make it a legislative issue, If a majority of voters in a given state want to allow abortion, they will have an opportunity to debate, through their elected legislators, the associated limitations and boundaries. Let the PEOPLE decide!

Why does the accidental killing of a fetus, during the commission of a crime, bring a charge of 'fetuscide?' Which is equivalent to a charge of murder. Either it's murder or it's not.

There are two great stains upon the American Republic. Namely, government-sanctioned chattel slavery, and government-sanctioned infanticide. Both had, and have, their enthusiastic supporters in the millions. Both were reviewed and approved by a Supreme Court. The first was rejected by Constitutional Amendment about 150 years ago. The second is still in doubt.

Yes it is murder. God says so and I will believe Him over you Gary. Why else would God warn of a punishment so terrifying for those people who abort the most vulnerable that they would prefer a millstone and the ocean instead? Just because mankind doesn't recognize abortion or child sacrifice as murder, doesn't mean that God doesn't have a different opinion. I happen to believe God.

Scripture speaks on this subject in Exodus 21:22 (NASB77): - And if men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she has a miscarriage, yet there is no further injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman’s husband may demand of him; and he shall pay as the judges decide.

The Case for Donald Trump 2024 32 replies

Time for some real talk. There are a lot of Republicans with doubts about President Trump running again in 2024, and you hear it often when conservatives gather together. They worry that him going Grover Cleveland could spoil a sure thing, but that’s not necessarily so. Whether you love Donald Trump, or whether you doubt him – if you hate him, shut up and go back to the Bulwark offices with the other losers – you need to look hard at the facts. We’re not progressives who let our feelz control us, and we must ruthlessly assess our own potential courses of action

One of the most popular definitions of recession was coined by economist Julius Shiskin in 1974. In his view, two consecutive economic quarters of negative gross domestic product (GDP) growth meant the country was in a recession. Sadly, based on this description, America is on the verge of entering a recession. In the first quarter of 2022, our nation’s economy contracted by 1.5%. As we approach the end of the second quarter, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta just estimated that there will be a 0% growth. If we fall just one tenth of a percent, it is officially a recession.

For more than two years now, experts have tried to deny that the FDA-approved Pfizer vaccine might impact fertility in both men and women. The 2016 Democratic candidate who faced former President Trump, told the Financial Times in an interview published Friday that there were no plans to run for office in 2024. “No, out of the question,” Clinton told the Financial Times. “First of all, I expect Biden to run. He certainly intends to run. It would be very disruptive to challenge that.” Clinton made her failed bid for President in 2016 and unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008. Congress should investigate fully the January 6 riot at the Capitol—and similar recent riots at iconic federal sites. But unfortunately, it never will. Why not? The current committee is not bipartisan. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., forbade Republican nominees traditionally selected by the House minority leader to serve on the committee. No speaker had ever before rejected the minority party’s nominees to a select House committee. Pelosi’s own cynical criteria for Republican participation was twofold: Any willing minority Republican members had to have voted to impeach former President Donald Trump while having no realistic chance of being reelected in 2022. Of some 210 Republican House members,
