Over the Juneteenth weekend, 9 people were shot in Harlem. Among them was Darius Lee, an aspiring basketball player from the mostly black neighborhood, who was the only one killed in the mass shooting. The wounded included two women and six men in a shooting that began over the filming of a rap video. Over 40 shots were fired. Elsewhere in the Big Apple, a gunman ran up to three men in Queens and opened fire with a rifle, wounding two and killing one. Dwayne Whyte was arrested in the shooting. "When is enough going to be enough? When we gonna put these guns down?" a community liaison asked after the Harlem attack.

Comments:

It's gangs. Politicians and much of law enforcement have no interest in dealing with gangbangers. That's why the problem will continue indefinitely. No parental supervision can lead to gang activity and dramatically shortened lifespans.

Why hasn't the FBI arrested the white supremeist or parents that attend school board meetings yet? AG Garland has told us over and over these are the groups most responsible for terrorist actions like this.

If the violence in the black community is to stop, it is up to the black community to do it. Any white, hispanic, or asian person who brings it up is instantly branded "racist." Unfortunately, black people who try to discuss it are accused of being "uncle Toms," or playing into white racists' hands.

I didn't know anything about Juneteenth until I got stationed in Oakland CA in the early 90s. It was called the Juneteenth Festival by the Lake as Oakland has huge Lake Merritt right in downtown. Long story short I witness my first live race riot as one side of the area was being over run with rowdy festival goers and the OPD. Me and my wife being simple country folks from WV simply watched as the crowd of people and cops got closer to our side of the lake. We came to our senses and left primarily from the glass bottles of beer flying over our heads and the cops stuffing people into paddy wagons. I tell you this story because it seems like somethings never change in major city Black neighborhoods.

Since there are no reports of white supremist, Asian or even some Hispanics committing the murder but just black on black killing I have to assume the population of blacks will dwindle down. I can now say since most of the crimes are by 13% of the population, I would say it's like a 'self-cleaning oven'. Add more black celebrated holidays to rush this along.

When I was younger, my wife was friends with a woman who was married to a local newspaper reporter, later an editor. He was a a liberal, like most of them are, but a solid reporter of the old school: who, what, when, where, why, and “if your mother says she loves you, check it out.” They were at our house one night, and the subject turned to race relations and black crime. He said something I never forgot: “I’ve been a reporter for 25 years, and I believe there’s an undercurrent of violence in that culture that can only be explained by genetics.” I think, as a previous poster stated, that black-on-black violence will have to be corrected by black citizens themselves. No one else can do it.

Well, Juneteenth is a celebration of Black culture. Black culture has devolved into a culture of gun violence, crime, illegitimate children , poverty, government dependence, bad attitudes, irresponsible men, loose young women, and uneducated children. Violence at any Black holiday celebration is just a cultural thing others don't understand.

Discussing black crime in America isn’t easy. For decades, the FBI has collected all kinds of race and crime data from state police, so we have the information. But due to a ton of negative black disparities showing up in the data, the mainstream media pursues a policy of silence on the issue, turning it as a result into a taboo topic. But as progressives say: “silence is violence.” Like any policy area, when you refuse full and frank discussion about crime, bad policies get implemented and good people get hurt. Take as an example the reckless driving-equivalent of the “Ferguson Effect” Tucker Carlson recently revealed.

What Do 'Men Give Birth' and 'Defund the

Unless you are brainwashed, you regard the statements “men give birth” and “defund the police” as absurd. Why, then, do leftists (as opposed to liberals and conservatives) say these things and even believe them? I think there are two — related — explanations. One is that the Left seeks to tear down every normative institution. If men give birth, “man” and “woman” no longer mean anything. “Men give birth” means the end of the male-female distinction, the most basic distinction in the human race. Racial distinctions pale in comparison. So do national distinctions. Marxists support the obliteration of the male-female distinction because the only distinction that matters to Marxists is that of class.

The fundamental problem with wind and solar power is that they don’t work. As a result, the ballyhooed “green revolution” has fizzled. In the recent past, California and Texas have suffered blackouts due to inadequate electricity supply. This year, as the summer heats up, it is the midwestern states served by the Midcontinent Independent Systems Operator (MISO) that are most likely to see their lights go out. Energy expert Isaac Orr explains: "According to [the North American Electric Reliability Corporation], much of the country is at an elevated risk of not having enough electricity to meet peak demand, plus the margin of safety, this summer, but none are at higher risk than MISO." Why are blackouts suddenly occurring after many decades of reliable energy? Because of profiteering by “green” energy hucksters.
