Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) is the frontrunner with a commanding lead over his challengers in New York’s Republican gubernatorial primary, according to a new poll.An Emerson College Poll found that 34 percent of very likely Republican primary voters support Zeldin for New York governor. Zeldin’s 34 percent is a double-digit lead over the next closest challenger, Rob Astorino, who earned 16 percent of Republicans’ support.Trailing behind Zeldin and Astorino are Harry Wilson and Andrew Giuliani, who earned 15 and 13 percent support, respectively. The poll found that 22 percent of Republican voters remain undecided ahead of New York’s gubernatorial primary on June 28.

If 22% are actually undecided, that could swing it any way.

New Yorkers are so stupid. They keep voting dem and wonder why things NEVER change. Keep letting bad guys kill you and they NEVER go to jail. How dumb are you. Build the wall around NY and leave them to themselves.

Apparently always siding with St. Cuomo has benefited Zeldin. But then, this is a demonrat ruled state so it's not surprising.

I'm with #2. Anybody who could put Kathy Hochul into any office is out of his mind. The woman leans to the right of Karl Marx.

Zeldin is the REAL DEAL.
Praying for him. Praying those in New York State won't keep putting their hands on the hot stove thinking that is the only thing they can do

It is unfortunate, but whomever is running Zeldin's campaign stinks. The candidate himself, Lee Zeldin is not a Rhino, he is not and never has been a democrat light and he certainly has not been a Cuomo fan. Not sure where comments on this site are coming from.
He is smart, honest (certainly a refreshing change here in the corruption capital) and he is a very hard worker. He has been a staunch supporter of President Trump very often when supporting Trump was not good for his career. His votes in Congress have been consistent with conservative values and policies. He will be a great governor for New York.
His campaign, however, stinks. I'm hoping he wakes up before all is lost. Beating the cheating, lying democrats in NYS will be nearly impossible. Election fraud is an institution in New York State. Heck, there are NY NGOs that teach classes on it. I hope Lee has some gutter fighters, with dirt under their fingernails in his campaign and not white shirt pansy republican consultants from DC. It is unconscionable and telling of the lackluster Republican party in NYS, that it has let this campaign get so out of control with multiple candidates that cannot win. Andrew Giuliani has ZERO experience except on the golf course. He is not his dad. Rob Astorino, is a very good man but previously ran for governor and lost to Andrew Cuomo. I wish he would leave the race and support Zeldin. And the other clowns are, I believe, democrat and deep state plants. I hope NY Republicans grow a pair and gain the killer instincts that are a must to beat the corrupt, cheating democrats.

I heard that Andrew Giuliani was not going to be allowed into debate because he is not vaccinated. He's got my vote.

The only candidate that can save New York is Andrew Guiliiani. He is truly MAGA, Zelden is a RINO!

Just an FYI, Judicial Watch won a lawsuit againat the boroughs of New York City requiring each to clean the voter rolls. These rolls have been the same for 15 years while voters have been fleeing. So far Staten Island removed only one voter name. No matter how destructive the fascists are a Republican can't win if the voters are overwhelmed with people that haven't lived there for decades.

It seems a lifetime ago that NY elected James Buckley senator, on the Conservative ticket. NY is two states NYS and NYC. The people in the city have little concept what the rest of the country is about and conversely most the country doesn’t know there is a NY that isn’t under pavement.
I understand it is much the same in Illinois with Chicago dictating to the rest of the state. The NY Republican Party has been in shambles for some time maybe this time voters will say enough, at least those that haven’t moved away.

Last weekend at the Belmont Stakes Hochul introduced the race. Although the crowd noise was softened by CBS you could hear she wasn't cheered and most likely booed by the crowd. If NYers actually elect a Republican for Governor maybe there is hope. Most likely all the 'urban' voters will blindly pull the lever for the D'Rat because they know nothing else and are too stupid and lazy to put 2 and 2 together.
