Jim Jordan shares allegations of FBI 'purge'
over Jan. 6

Multiple former FBI officials are coming forward with information suggesting the bureau is "purging" employees with conservative viewpoints, according to House Judiciary Committee Republicans. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the ranking member of the panel, sent a letter to Director Christopher Wray on Tuesday outlining new allegations that relate to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Comments:

Purging conservatives huh. Not surprised given how weaponized the FBI and Justice Department has become since Obama. I thought Christopher Wray was suppose to clean things up. Apparently not. Who recommended Wray to Trump? Who vetted him? Hopefully in 2024 we will get a Republican President. If so, some major house cleaning has to take place as a top priority.

The entire unelected establishment is Dems, leftist ones. We can vote in conservatives, though the vote is at risk of being controlled by big city Dems. But even a conservative Congress and President would face the federal union. Liberals love to work in little bureaucratic cubicles 4 hours a day writing rules and regulations and tax tables to exert their control. Self-respecting conservatives don't want such jobs. But they do exist in the ranks of FBI, hence the purge.

Did any conservatives work there in the first place? Same as in the news media, in academics, and anything else run by Marxist radicals, they weed out undesirables right up front so they're surrounded with fellow travelers.

This is exactly the kind of thing that totalitarian governments do. Must purge all opposition. If they are doing it in the FBI, I am sure it is being done across the board in every agency. Clearly democrats have given up on our political system and have decided to carve out one to their liking. It is called totalitarianism. In order to do that, they must get rid of any potential troublemakers. Democrats are vile. All they want is power and control and will do whatever it takes to achieve it. It does astound me that there are so many who are willing to go along with them in DC. Apparently, the rats go where the cheese is.

Re #10 — Obama pulled the same stunt with the DoD. How do you think we have such wimpy, woke generals as General Milley? Obama forced the retirement of the warrior generals most of whom were very conservative leaving in their place the political generals to rise in rank to the top and take charge.

#5, a few decades ago I worked alongside a number of CIA people though I was not employed by the agency. Every one of them was former military and very conservative. This was during the Reagan years and I believe that the rot began with Clinton and has been spreading through every government agency ever since. 0bama simply sent it into warp drive.

#15 You are so right. Obama is a Marxist (just like his Daddy) who hates the history, traditions, and especially the free market capitalism system that has made this country so great. He wants to turn this country into a Marxist based socialist/communist country. There is no doubt that he and his Marxist lieutenants are running this country into a ditch. He must be laughing his ass off - he has a dunce who don't know where he is half the time in the WH to take the blame.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Nearly a year since its inception, the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol will go public with its findings starting this week as lawmakers hope to show the American public how democracy came to the brink of disaster. The series of hearings that will take place over the next several weeks begin with a prime-time session Thursday night in which the nine-member panel plans to give an overview of its 11-month investigation. More than 1,000 people have been interviewed by the panel, and only snippets of that testimony have been revealed to the public, mostly through court filings.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Tampa Bay Rays fans spoke to Fox News about Gov. Ron DeSantis’ decision to veto $35 million in funding for a new training facility. "We as taxpayers should just worry about bringing lots of … fans to the area and support that," Bonnie, of Bradenton, told Fox News. "The governor has no business in that." After vetoing the funding, DeSantis said Friday that he doesn't "support giving taxpayer dollars to professional sports stadiums" and that "it's inappropriate to subsidize political activism of a private corporation." The Rays had pledged to donate $50,000 to Everytown for Gun Safety in late May following the Uvalde, Texas, shooting.

Their sources did not say "whether the administration will simultaneously require interest and payments to resume at the end of August, when the current pause is scheduled to lapse."

It wasn’t that long ago when the left’s narrative on ‘gay rights’ was simple, straightforward, and easy to support: Let’s all be tolerant of one another, live and let live, and don’t discriminate. Tolerance is, after all, one of the fundamental tenets of the philosophy which drove America’s founding. But as the saying goes, “give someone an inch and they’ll take a mile,” which is the situation in which we find ourselves today. The message of ‘tolerance’ eventually morphed into ‘acceptance.’ At some point late in the Obama Administration, our culture decided that it was inadequate to merely tolerate the shenanigans of the LGBTQ community, we needed to welcome them.

Speculation is rife concerning the possible presidential candidates representing the two major parties as the nation approaches the 2024 elections. Everyone has an opinion, and the pundits are competing in the expertise sweepstakes. What can we say with some degree of plausibility? The Democrat roster is, by all accounts, dramatically uninspiring. Biden, who speaks in tongues, is plainly beyond redeeming; the question is whether he will manage to survive the year, let alone stumble, lollop, and whiffle to the end of his first term. Kamala Harris belongs in vaudeville or farce, given her talent for provoking laughter. Both will have to be retired in favor of an electable candidate. But who?

I thought it would be fun. That's what I told my friend Mack when I asked her to drive with me from New Orleans to Chicago and back in an electric car. I'd made long road trips before, surviving popped tires, blown headlights and shredded wheel-well liners in my 2008 Volkswagen Jetta. I figured driving the brand-new Kia EV6 I'd rented would be a piece of cake. If, that is, the public-charging infrastructure cooperated. We wouldn't be the first to test it.
