The gloves came off this week between two entrenched and once-friendly Democratic Congress members who are now battling in a primary for their political lives.
Rep. Carolyn Maloney fired the first salvo this week, claiming to The Post that her longtime colleague Rep. Jerry Nadler tried to muscle her out of a newly carved Manhattan congressional district — and wouldn’t have attempted such a thing if she were a man.

Equally dishonest, but he is no Carolina Cracker, I never understood why Manhattan needed a Carolina cracker as a representative.

So comforting to know one of these pigs will not be in the next congress.

These vile creatures crave money and power, not necessarily in that order. The people they are supposed to represent come last. The democrats are running wild with spending and ridiculous hearings and false arrests while we have heard nothing but crickets from the GOP and now that election time is coming, the begging for money from all corners of the country has begun. How about giving us a list of your actions taken to defeat the communists in power and accomplishments along with your pathetic requests for more money. Nadler is a pig but most republicans have also become familiar with the pig pen. The new thing in politics is to declare a new home for yourself in order to have an open spot from which to run. How can you properly represent your constituents if you don't know them?

The good news is that one of those clowns will be gone from the next Congress. The bad news is that one will likely remain. Best case scenario is that Fat Jerry wins but then gets expelled by the GOP majority for his Russiagate ethics violations.

If only they could both lose. If I have to choose, I vote The Penguin, Fat Jerry, off the island. I find him to be one of the more repulsive members of Congress out of many repulsive members, though he seems to maintain his position in the vile top 10 fairly consistently.

Never interfere with internecine warfare in the Dem camp. Perhaps we could ship them some anti-tank missiles to help out both sides.

FTA:
Since the beginning of their careers three decades ago, Nadler has repped a district running down the Upper West Side (what is now the 10th District), while Maloney’s has held down the Upper East Side (in what is now the 12th District). That all changed after the special master created a redrawn 12th district which threw east and west together. Despite the new district being 60% Maloney’s, Nadler jumped into the race, rather than potentially face alien territory in his newly redrawn 10th district — which has now become a fiercely competitive open seat.
Maloney and Nadler both came to Congress within months of each other in 1992 and 1993 and have spent three decades on friendly terms — which is why it stung when Nadler never even gave her a courtesy call to let her know his intention to run in her district, Maloney said.
They are both pretty awful, but I hope she wins. Easier to knock down in the future. Although Nature could cast a no vote for Nadler and wipe him off the planet. Has to be on thin ice healthwise.

Sorry my fellow L-Dotters I must take a time out. I have to clean the water off of my computer from laughing so hard reading Nadler and sexism in the headline. It's akin to putting Maxine Waters and intelligent in the same sentence.
