A number of Tampa Bay Rays players decided not to wear rainbow-colored logos on their uniforms as part of the team's annual 'Pride Night' on Saturday. In the buildup to Saturday's MLB game against the Chicago White Sox, which also marked the franchise's annual 16th Pride Night celebration, the Rays added rainbow-colored logos to their uniforms, caps and on the right sleeve of their shirts. (snip) Reliever Jason Adam was among those who opted out, and said 'a lot of it comes down to faith, to like a faith-based decision.'

Good for them. Now we have an entire month to celebrate sodomites. To Hades with them.

Standing ovation, and shame on the Devil Rays for forcing players to join in on such a thing. Not everything has to be about sex, deviant sex especially, and if anyone wants that, there are venues aplenty dedicated for just that thing.

I may be the only one to remember this, but Ellen Degenorus (Sp) had a sitcom years ago. It was really good. Then she decided after a few years to come out. So she made a big deal about being gay and carried it over to her show. The show was quickly canceled. She said at the time this will stop, she will not stop until gay people are "celebrated." Her very word. It took a while but she got her way, sort of.

Take a knee for the death of America as we knew it, then stand up, hand over heart for the National Anthem and if they don't play it, sing it.

Bumper stickers belong on bumpers. Employees are not walking billboards for corporate virtue signaling. Opinions on sex and politics are personal. It is right they play a booked game being promoted as "Pride Night", playing games is what they are paid for, not what goes on in the stands. bBut forcing them to wear emblems endorsing a viewpoint that mat or may not be their own or that they just don't want to make a public announcement about is not right. Maybe they are all happily gay as monkeys on nitrous oxide, but just think sex is something private. They should not be forced.

To #3, I think you misspelled her name. Shouldn't it be Ellen Degenerate?

Enough with this "faith based" BS!
Every person should have their safe, fearless choice to not opt in. There should be no need to claim the choice is based on any faith, religion, creed, or teaching, etc. The choice should be freely allowed without any excuse, justification or explanation.

Back about 30 years ago, at my university, Student Affairs geniuses devised stickers to be placed on faculty office doors to identify gay-friendly faculty members. In that way, gay students would know who to seek help with.
I refused my sticker, explaining that it was my duty to be helpful to all of my students, and that I had been able to help students 'come out' on occasion, taking them to the Counseling Center.
Nothing was made at my refusal to display the sticker,, although today I believe it could lead to my firing.

Don't wear those logos. No one has the right to make you a billboard for their causes.
