CMA Fest bans Confederate flag imagery
at country music festival

Nashville, Tenn.—The CMA Fest is prohibiting any Confederate flag imagery at its four-day festival, following similar bans at other country music festivals. In a statement provided to The Tennessean, the Country Music Association said the decision to enact the policy this year was based on the personal safety of fans and to prevent discrimination. “This year’s CMA Fest is our first major fan-facing event in nearly three years. We have always had policies in place that protect the safety of our fans and ban discrimination, but we felt it was important to further refine our language to explicitly outline what will and will not be tolerated,”

Comments:

Just as at Gay NASCAR, only banners celebrating Black Lives Matter and LGBTQI-pedo+, give or take Antifa, will be allowed. This is in the name of tolerance and acceptance (of centralized rule, which the Confederates, like the Founders before them, opposed).

Never was a big fan of country music, but I always saw the musicians and fans as good Americans. It appears that has now changed. They have become lily livered woke soy boys just like the democrats. How long till they start hanging out their pedophile flags?

Are BLM and gay pride flags allowed? If so, why? It’s discriminatory. How about just the star-spangled banner?

Country and Western music used to be just that. Written and performed by C&W people, sometimes using melodies for older songs. Today suburban musicians and New York producers are making C&W music. They take their orders from the East Coast.

The RAP and hip-hop garbage that passes as "country music" these days is just nasty and talentless!!!!! I have come to love bluegrass music the last few years as I don't even have any country stations preset in my car anymore. It's just useless. No melodies. No harmonies. No great musicians. Just see how many words you can shove into a 3 minute "song". If George Strait were just starting out today, he would get no airplay...

Haven't watched the CMA's in years. At 79 years young, I lean toward 50's/60's/early 70's rock & roll and old style country, like Gene Watson, George Jones and Ricky Van Shelton.

Miss Loretta said on a radio interview in 2020 that real country music is nearly dead. Ooh, the interviewer moved QUICKLY to new topic as she could tell Loretta Lynn meant it too. I love my Johnny Cash, George Strait, George Jones and all the real stars whose music lives on because of the talent, authenticity and genuine appreciation for God and country. RIP CMA awards shows.

Washington—A U.S. Embassy tweet of a rainbow-flag-festooned message by President Joe Biden in support of Pride Month has drawn a face-to-face diplomatic protest from Kuwait and sparked a rare Twitter fight between the two close allies. On Friday, U.S. diplomats were doubling down with rainbow flag postings and statements in support of LGBTQ rights on social media. The messages appeared in response to the Kuwaiti government's official objection the day before to what Kuwait's state news agency called the “pro-gay rights post” of the U.S. Embassy there. “The United States stands with the LGBTQI+ community everywhere around the world,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said

The disaster that is the Biden Administration has been a godsend for Trump. Had President Joe Biden simply plagiarized the successful Trump agenda, there would have followed no border disaster, no energy crisis, no hyperinflation, and no disastrous flight from Afghanistan. Had Biden followed through on his "unity" rhetoric, he could have lorded over Trump's successful record as his own,

These numbers are extraordinary, not only because they indicate that America has lost control of its borders, but also because they raise profound questions about how many people the country can successfully integrate.
