Joe Biden on Friday bragged about the performance of the economy during his presidency, saying Americans felt more 'financially comfortable' and vowing to lower prices of gas and food. Biden's remarks came after a new report showed the job market slowed in May with 390,000 jobs added although the unemployment rate was unchanged and remained at 3.6%, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.Economists praised the figure as healthy and Biden said it showed 'stable, steady growth.''America is in a stronger economic position today than just about any other country in the world,' he said in remarks in Rehoboth Beach, Del., where he is spending the weekend.

We had that under Trump. Why did you f it up? You broke what didn't need to be fixed simply because of your hatred of Trump and America. You did this and we will not forgive or forget. Yeah, an inflation tax of $5200 a year certainly has made me more financially comfortable. This man's brain is swiss cheese.

No, after the past sixteen months, you ineffectual godforsaken idiot, we are not more "financially comfortable" than we were under Trump. Query for the Resident: Are you more financially comfortable after the $30M+ your family received from various Chinese entities, not to mention the grifting in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Romania...? How well did the family do? Selling influence sure beats working for a living, doesn't it?

The Big Guy is living in a fantasy land. We are more comfortable with our finances? Give me a friggin' break. My raise this year was nice (not big, but okay). However, it is not coming close to covering the increase in costs for my monthly power bill. It is $100/month more than it was last year. And we have a high-efficiency HVAC system!
The Big Guy is a LUNATIC!

If, by 'comfortable' Biden means living hand-to-mouth, canceling trips due to high gas prices, running up credit card debt at record rates, and wondering what can be used in lieu of baby formula that won't harm one's baby...
Sure. Never been better.

Joe, it is not your job to manage the American economy. IT IS your job to manage the government budget, which job performance has been atrocious, as you have added 10 Trillion to the government debt in a year and a half, shut down oil and gas exploration, and brought double digit inflation. I don't think that is a record for hiring you, but a record for immediate firing.

Americans are now more “financially comfortable”?? In a pig’s eye! Just had to give money to a son who has always lived on a lean budget. They were doing OK before Biden but they have no room financially to absorb the huge increase in food and gasoline. My son at least has family who can help - what happens to other Americans without a network? Lose their houses? Go hungry?

Fuel prices and inflation out of control, no southern border, our military being shoved into wokeism and weakness, stock market tanking. I really don't have the time to list it all. Biden and the Democrats are destroying the USA and this fool prattles on like #1 said, like Baghdad Bob, but our media will lie, hide and cover for him.

I called my investment person yesterday to get some advice on whether to liquidate my 403b which is tanking. The rules have changed raising the age for withdrawal so If Trump were to win in 2024, I may be able recover a bit before I have to begin taking distributions. She seemed very optimistic about things. Hmmm?

The country just went one full quarter with negative growth, the highest rate of inflation in more than 40 years, doubling of fuel costs to consumers, nearly tripling the cost of diesel fuel to power the trucks delivering products to buyers, massive influx of foreigners competing for jobs, printing money faster than the presses can handle, and the clown in chief suffers from CRS. We are totally screwed.
