President Joe Biden pushed for more gun control on Monday, even though it was Memorial Day, a national patriotic holiday.“The Constitution, the Second Amendment was never absolute,” Biden said to reporters. The president spoke to reporters about gun control as he returned to Washington, DC, from Delaware for Memorial Day ceremonies.Biden falsely claimed again that Americans were unable to purchase a cannon when the Second Amendment was passed, despite being repeatedly fact-checked as false by even the Washington Post and Politifact.“You couldn’t buy a cannon when the Second Amendment was passed and you couldn’t go out and purchase a lot of weapons,” he said.

It's sad to realize that they died for the freedoms that we are now allowing the government to take away, isn't it?

Recalling Sgt. Stedenko in 1978's Up in Smoke, the Resident is "a stupid, stupid man." If an evil person wanted to blow the lung out of someone, a 9mm wouldn't even come close to fitting the bill. Could put a hole in a lung, maybe. Not blow it out. Maybe a 12 gauge shotgun with anything from #00 buckshot to #4 Buck (#0 Buck, #1 Buck, #2 Buck, #3 Buck in between) could, I suppose blow some poor guy's lung out. But if you really wanted to do that, nothing works like a Claymore. God help America survive its traitors and fools. And strengthen us.

"Shall not be infringed" are the exact words selected by our founding fathers.
Those words are ABSOLUTE. "shall not" in the legal sense gives NO leeway. And 'infringe' is an extremely broad word.....INTENTIONALLY broad.

Of course it isn't absolute. All you need to do is repeal it. Go ahead, Biden. Try that! It isn't happening.

" I ask Sir , what is the militia ? It is the whole people. To disarm them is the is the best and most effectual way to enslave them ". Spoken by George Mason, co - author of the Second Amendment at the Virginia Convention to ratify our Constitution.

FTA: "...and remember, the Constitution, the 2nd Amendment was never absolute.”
Apparently, Biden's oath of office was not absolute...yeah, the one in which he swore to uphold and defend that Constitution, as written, from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. As written, not as he would prefer it was written.
In a sane world, violating his oath of office would be automatic grounds for automatic impeachment, and is probably treasonous at the same time.
The words that accurately describe Biden are not allowed on this site.

The 2nd Amendment neither creates nor awards any ‘rights’. It codifies a natural God given right of self defense that all free men possess by virtue of drawing breath. If that defense requires a 9mm round then it is covered. It is important to keep in mind that even if the Constitution and the Republic based on it ceases to exist, this right will never go away.

“I know that it makes no sense to be able to be able to purchase something that can fire up to 300 rounds,” he said
Uhmmm...so single shot/single use, has to be thrown away after?
What, like those zip guns Corn Pop made back in your "Hood" daze?
Cannons? Of COURSE you could buy and own cannons, and you still can. In fact, back in those days the easiest way to get an "Officers Commission", during the Revolution, 1812, French Indian wars, even the Civil War, was to have a private cannon, and/or crates of muskets, barrels of powder/lead to bring to the Party.
Officers commissions were not just handed out willy nilly to the rich, spoiled, middle aged, Lawyer sons of Delaware senators at his merest wish back in those days....ya had to bring SOMETHING to the Fight.

The American people expect cognitive deficiencies from someone who is commonly described as DEMENTED. What Americans generally abhor is when the handlers of someone who is demented, state through their puppet that the American constitution does not say what WE KNOW it SAYS. This is simply a gaslighting obfuscation, written by radicals, read on a teleprompter, by a demonstrable fool who told you point blank that the vaccinated would neither be infected by nor transmit COVID-19.

The Second Amendment exists because people have the right to protect themselves. One would think that should be implicit, but there are people out there that believe people should not have the right to protect themselves.

Did Biden’s handlers write this nonsense? Or is this original sputter from Joey?

Biden seems to have betrayed his Oath of Office yet again? He is becoming even more flaky and . insufferable every day. He routinely insults our country, it's history, it's citizens, etc., and now, the U.S. Constitution?! ...Who is he working for anyway?! He certainly is not keeping his oath of office.

#9 brings up a very important point. The 1st ten amendments, Bill of Rights were voted against by some that signed it because they thought these rights were so obvious that they didn't need to be written down.

Nobody needs to buy a cannon, Joe, but I can have one made by the end of the day with a pipe, a can of black powder and a box of marbles or nails. I could even mix my own powder from the three basic ingredients. Don't even try to bully a free people, you will lose because you are incredibly stupid.
