If the election laws say mail in ballots must be signed, dated, and postmarked by a certain date and time, then that is the standard that must be followed. Otherwise, why have election laws? They are election laws, not suggestions.

The lawsuit requests that "undated ballots that arrived on time" be counted. The heading indicated "arrived late", which is inconsistent with the claim in the lawsuit filed, claiming only that the signatures on the ballots were not dated.

The result of the recent election for French president was reported within 24 hours after the polls closed. France has 60 plus million citizens within an area many times larger than
Pennsylvania. Of course that benighted country doesn’t have early voting or mail-in ballots. Its absentee voting is very restrictive. Nearly 100 percent of the votes for president were cast on election day by people showing up to the polls, in person and with ID’s in hand. How quaint.

How something begins is important.
If David McCormick would allow voters to obey only SOME election laws, then he'd be another "what's in it for me?" candidate. We already have enough of those in place. Our country desperately needs public servants who have good leadership qualities; otherwise, it will disappear.

To be clear. It is NOT post mark dates that are missing. It is a date that goes on the 2nd inside envelop next to the signature. The ballots are NOT designed to be signed or dated. Same as when you vote inside the poll. So any ballots received AFTER 8pm election night are not in question. The ballots being looked at are legit and were set aside because of this omission. Ballots being disallowed lack a signature, were not in a privacy envelop or had other markings that are not allowed.

Trump oddly endorses a candidate who runs against the former Dominion Voting Systems consultant and 5 days after the primary its a cliffhanger.
What are the odds?
Maybe it's time to consider the possibility we are watching a segment of The Apprentice: The Sequel.

McCormick believes he can win this election by military mail-in ballots. This seems highly improbable because it's reported that these ballots do not exceed 1,500 ballots. It's probable that approx. 750 of these 1,500 ballots are for the Democrat candidates, which leaves approx. 750 Republican mail-in military ballots.
As of 6:42 AM today, McCormick has gained 83 ballots on Oz since the weekend pause in vote counting, OZ has 418,738. McCormick has 417,751. Therefore, as of now Oz leads by 987 votes.

It isn't bad enough that they made an unlawful change to the election rules with no-excuse mail-in ballots that was not passed by the PA legislature, as required by the constitution, now they want to accept ballots with no dates.
WHY HAVE ANY RULES?
Oz is not my preferred candidate, but McCormick is a Davos RINO

Duiring the primary Barnette said that the MAGA movement existed before Truimp emerged as its leader. This is true. But once we pick a leader we must then let them lead.
Trump did his political calculation and concliuded that the most acceptable candidate who could actually win in the general election was Oz, so he endorsed Oz. If Barnette was really on board with the MAGA movement she would have immediately withdrawn and thrown her support to the candidate Trump endorsed. She did not do that. Barnette was the splitter.
McCormick is what we get when we don't stand together. Enjoy your Democrat Senator, Pennsylvania. The rest of us should learn from Pennsylvania's mistake.

HOFT IS (as he often is) WRONG.THE BALLOTS WEREN'T LATE. "...a federal appeals court ruling from Friday that undated Lehigh County ballots, which arrived on time, should be counted in the 2021 general election." There's enough to fight about with PA election laws as they are. Let's at least get the story straight.

Violating the rules by counting ballots after the due date is part of the reason many people believed the last election was stolen. Covid was used as an excuse then, but that won't pass muster now. Thankfully, most states have restored pre-Covid voting rules to restore ballot integrity.

All "overseas-military" vote totals should have been counted as they were counted daily. Their (statutory 1-week extension) arrival deadline was 5:00 PM today.
