You just can’t make this stuff up. Brian R. McCaffrey is a retired four-star general and MSNBC contributor, but on Monday the distinguished former military officer made a faux pas that he likely won’t live down anytime soon. He posted a tweet that contained what he apparently thought was actual wartime footage from the Russo-Ukraine conflict, showing what appeared to be a Russian MiG being shot down by Ukrainian missile defenses. Twitter users, however, were quick to inform him it was actually just a clip from a video game.

A true POS. Turned in by 24th ID troops serving under him during Gulf War for War Crimes. A soft shoe Army IG investigation cleared him. Being a kiss-ass, he was protected by Powell, Perry and others. (Stormin Norman did not care for him.) They ensured he was decorated, promoted with 4th star, and transferred to SOUTHCOM, and later JCS. Appears right at home with woke MSNBC. Nice expertise & call on that air defense missile clip from Call of Duty, General. Still sharp as ever.

Obviously there are few legitimate Eisenhower or Patton types in the US military these days! You got to remember when retired military officers or anyone else who have signed on the media networks as “contributors” are paid by the networks for each appearance where they give their “expert commentary and opinion” so as they sit in their homes they have to create something to say when they appear on your TV screens. This incident shows that many times their commentary and opinions are bogus, or at times a completely fraudulent rehash of already released propaganda, and has no more worth then what you would get from any person on the street. Currently in relation to the Ukraine situation, both Russian and Western intelligence have had no limits on the propaganda they have been shoveling out to the world, so you have to take that propaganda, even when it is rehashed by so-called expert “contributors” on TV with a grain of salt.

Hillary Clinton approved an effort to leak allegations that Donald Trump was colluding with Russia via Alfa Bank, according to her 2016 presidential campaign manager, Robby Mook, who testified Friday in federal court in Washington, DC. (snip) As the New York Post notes, Mook also discussed the Alfa Bank allegations with Clinton aide Jake Sullivan. Sullivan played a key role in misleading reporters and Congress about “Russia collusion,” telling the House Intelligence Committee in 2017 that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had colluded with Russia.
