While abortion activists near Washington, D.C. were protesting outside the homes of Supreme Court Justices, their leftist ilk in Texas rallied at the state Capitol where one mother, accompanied by her son, laughed off her failed attempt to terminate him, “I almost did. It didn’t work.” (snip) Shroyer asked the boy, “Aren’t you glad she didn’t abort you?” (snip) The son then chimed in and told Shroyer, “You believe in ruining the lives of women. Financially, it financially ruined my mother,”

It seems remarkable sometimes how much Leftists discount the value of human life. You never hear about them committing suicide, however, in any great numbers.

Some women can be single and successfully raise normal sons. This is not one of those women. That poor boy doesn’t have a chance.

Pretty cruel. Very reminiscent of the people who terrorize children into believing they are sexual freaks. This one says the kid was just a clump of cells that ruined his mother’s life financially. Somebody ought to think about that. A joyless life outlook.

Surprised she didn't "late term abort" her son right then and there to prove her point and allegiance to the abortion for any reason at any time (even after birth) cause.

What an absolutely selfish woman. Goes to show it takes more to be a mother than giving birth. Would that she let him be adopted into a loving home.

Think about that boy’s life living with a mom who blamed him for her inadequacies as a human being. I’ll give it to her for not aborting her child, but to saddle him as the cause of her broken dreams is simply despicable. This woman would doubtless made little of her life. Those who aspirate to great things usually manage to achieve them. However, those who aspire to a wealthy and easy life are rarely satisfied. If we could turn the clock back and she didn’t find herself pregnant or had given the child she carried up for adoption, I would bet her life would end up just as it has today. You cannot satisfy an empty soul. The woman needs Jesus to understand real sacrifice and loving commitment.

World history is replete with nations, some powerful, that declined from within, not from foreign adversaries invading their land.
