Elon Musk Issues Warning on Twitter Algorithm
as Company’s Legal Team Reaches Out

Original Article

Elon Musk warned Twitter users that they are “being manipulated” and told them to turn off the platform’s algorithmic newsfeed, coming as the firm’s legal department apparently said he committed a violation of a non-disclosure agreement. “You are being manipulated by the algorithm in ways you do not realize … Easy to switch back and forth to see the difference,” Musk wrote on Twitter. The Tesla CEO advised other users to switch to seeing the latest Twitter posts immediately by tapping the Twitter home button, tapping the stars button on the upper right of the screen, and selecting “latest tweets.”

Comments:

Not suggesting malice but suggesting they switch back and forth to see the difference. And driving Twitter lawyers crazy! Says deal still on...

It seems like everything is a lie or fake. The media manipulates everyone, even themselves. They think they are not biased and fair, stupid as that sounds. Too many fools in places where they don't belong.

The onlytime i see twitter is from a link off an aggregation site. What I see is usually a waste of keystrokes and electrons just like most comment sections. One thing I like about Lucianne is, usually, the majority of comments are thoughtful.

I do not use Twitter. I am a tad outspoken and for my own mental health I try and stay away from the temptation to get caught up in a battle with a leftist who most of the time eventually devolves into name calling. Plus, there is little success to be had with these “geniuses” on the left. If they are anything, they are committed to their boneheaded ideology.

For about a year now, I have taken myself off most social media. Some display pics only. Those usually don't get too political. I can live with "don't usually." But I didn't want to deal with the constant politicization of FB. If I didn't agree with the social/political position of a poster, I would get slammed when I posted. I grew tired of the self-righteousness of people left and right -- even people with whom I agree (and I'm a conservative). Right now, "Twitter" makes me think it is for "twits." I cannot get around that.

The grand number of NYT subscribers that they bandy about was always suspect. The dims also exaggerate the number of their followers at every opportunity. Musk is about to (I hope) reveal that there is a huge empty demographic that "supports" so much of the left's agenda, but are not real corpuscular beings, although identified as such. Smoke and mirrors from carnival operators giving the impression that biteme ever had enough support to fill a phone booth, much less a 96 mile caravan of bumper to bumper cars in AZ. Without the imaginary hoards of democrat advocates I sincerely believe that the number of actual votes for him never exceeded 40 million. They are all part of a vast echo chamber supported by media such as twatter, psaki and poltico. Our adversaries largely don't exist. It's just a lie that has been repeated over and over. Look behind the curtain.

DEL RIO, Texas—U.S. Border Patrol has started to use, on a mass scale, a special “parole” exception that was previously used sparingly to allow tens of thousands of illegal immigrants to stay in the United States for at least a year, The Epoch Times has learned. Under parole status, illegal immigrants don’t have to provide Border Patrol with evidence of credible fear for asylum and are permitted entry without any preconditions, except a quick background check in the U.S. crime database. A Customs and Border Protection spokesman said the parole designation allows for overwhelmed Border Patrol stations to process large numbers of illegal aliens “significantly faster” and release them into the country

Democrats are also considering legislation that would give the federal government more control over the supply and distribution of formula, particularly when shortages arise. The plan would require formula companies to report inventory to the Food and Drug Administration, which could then move supplies from one state to another to fill empty shelves.
