Following the announcement of his "Disinformation Governance Board," Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas found himself scrambling to spin the hideous new speech enforcer, claiming it was not as Orwellian as any normal person would think. Speaking with Fox News, Sunday he told Bret Baier: "This is a working group that takes best practices to make sure that, in addressing disinformation that presents a threat to the homeland, our work does not infringe on free speech, does not infringe on civil rights, civil liberties," he continued. "It's not about speech, it's about the connectivity to violence. That is what we need to address. You know, an individual has the free speech

One conservative man’s free speech is violence according to lefty logic. So, according to Mayorkas, ALL conservative opinions are violent, and therefore should be gagged.

Mayorkas’s fraudulent and misleading responses to very important issues are so in variance with common sense that they are a joke. He should be impeached and removed from office. Obviously he has no respect for the Congress, and believes that the American people are stupid.

Their spin is that this is a "Trump" program...though THAT one was to disrupt the disinformation to central american countries about "Free Entry to ALL!!" that triggered massive caravans and presaged the Binden abandon the border proclamations.(Many/most of which were done in consultation/collusion with the groups who had spread and profited from the earlier incidents) Much in the way they tried to blame the "Gun Walking" debacle on Bush, because he had a secret program to TRACK illegal gun sales to drug/smuggling cartels.

Psaki just indicated that actually Trump started the so-called “Disinformation Board” that Mayorkas drew public attention to in his Congressional testimony, so what is the big deal? It seems like just about everything that the Biden politburo tries out that turns to crap is then still blamed by Biden and his crew on Trump.

As if we didn't need yet another government agency in this age of behemoth federal spending, the Biden administration has saddled the U.S. with a new one, the Office of Environmental Justice. The $1.4 million monstrosity will be buried within the U.S. Department of Justice under the authority of U.S. associate attorney general, Vanita Gupta, who set up the new bureaucracy-enforcer arm. It will be headed by one Cynthia M. Ferguson, whose title is acting director. According to the Washington Examiner: The Justice Department is launching a new Office of Environmental Justice, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced on Thursday, which will seek to redress health risks from climate change faced by minorities

Does anyone think it normal that the White House has refused to condemn the doxxing of six Supreme Court justices in the wake of the Court's likely overturn of Roe v. Wade? That's a full-blown invasion of personal privacy, quite unlike a protest at the Court members' workplace, with all its menacing implications. The White House, despite the fact that its officials are hardly exempt from the same kind of treatment from criminals, simply refused to do it. White House spokesweasel Jen Psaki just danced around the topic before coming down squarely on the side of the doxxers.

The brouhaha over news that the Supreme Court may overturn Roe v. Wade, has brought out some bonkers over-reactions from Democrats who are coming up with creative new ways of beclowning themselves. To reiterate the backstory: Some ass with no loyalty to the Court as an institution took it upon him- or herself to leak a draft of internal Supreme Court precedings which indicate that the Court, on a 5-4 vote, is likely to overturn Roe v. Wade, a 1973 decision so poorly laid out that even the late liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had reservations about its legal grounding. This shouldn't be a problem for leftists, because abortion remains legal.
