LGBTQ2 people will face disproportionate
impacts if Roe v. Wade is overturned: experts

Members of the LGBTQ2 community will be disproportionately impacted should the United States Supreme Court overturn Roe v. Wade, experts say. “Abortion care is part of wrap-around sexual health education and care that is essential to the well-being of LGBTQ2S+ people, whether they become pregnant or not,” Dr. Shannon Dea, dean of the faculty of arts at the University of Regina told Global News. “Limit that care and you imperil their well-being.” A leaked initial majority draft opinion, first reported Monday by Politico, suggests the court has voted to overturn the decision that legalized abortion nationwide — and it has

I guess LGBTQ2S+ is a new moniker. It's hard to keep up ! But how many are getting pregnant?

You people are missing something here. It is not unheard of for a lesbian couple to have a baby through the use of a sperm bank donation, or a sperm donation from a willing male friend. I suspect the perceived need for an abortion happens when the lesbian couple breaks up. The pregnant partner aborts the baby in an act of revenge. (The same thing sometimes happens with heterosexual couples.) Or the non pregnant lesbian partner demands that the pregnant lesbian get an abortion.

“Abortion care is part of wrap-around sexual health education and care that is essential to the well-being ..." NOW substitute the words "Killing unborn babies" for "Abortion care." Doesn't quite flow off the tongue after that change does it? All people deserve equal rights and nobody deserves special rights. Killing IS killing. You DON'T get to decide to kill someone just because you are pregnant. And the same folks who support vaccine MANDATES are now concerned ("It's MY body!") that their version of "health care" might suffer. ALL decisions involve a disproportionate impact since someone wins and someone loses.

What the alphabets don't realize is most people could care less who they sleep with, dance with, eat with or live with as long as it doesn't hurt us or our families. Paying for them through taxes hurts us. Free medical drives up our insurance. Destructive protests hurt our community. Abortion is the same way. They are hurting (killing) someone else. “Abortion care is part of wrap-around sexual health education and care that is essential to the well-being of LGBTQ2S+ people, whether they become pregnant or not…” This is the biggest piece of dumb crap I have ever heard. Gay people think abortion right effects them? Far stretch and how narcissistic! The other education is not outlawed so why can’t that continue without federal abortion rights? Don’t you have to have heterosexual sex to become pregnant? To parlay the Roe reversal (that would take abortion rights back to the states and that does not outlaw abortion) into how it would be effecting gay rights is ridiculous. To project this ruling into affecting gay rights is a weak or even an uneducated argument. Borrowing trouble does not hold water with me. Their argument is falling on deaf ears. The initial ruling was on shaky ground anyway if I understand the basis of the initial ruling correctly. As I understand, the initial decision was legislated from the bench and personal rights definition was stretched thin by the courts in making this decision. This is what you get liberals when you are pushing legalized third term abortion.

Well the men pretending to be women have no worries. The women pretending to be men would only get pregnant on purpose to shock everyone walking around as a pregnant man, so no abortion needed. The only scenario I can imagine is a woman who is pretending to be a man goes into a bathroom at a LGBTQ...bar and gets raped. He/she is of course not happy about it. But how often would that happen?

Those alphabet soup whackos are incurable, mentally ill people who are untouchable by standard health care, unless they are twisting "health care" to mean slicing off parts of the plumbing that provide visible indication of which gender in which they were born. Abortion being described as "health care" is a lie that is being used to justify the procedure and force normal people to pay for it, that's why they feel the need to convince us with signs. Abortion is murder, accept it and stop lying to yourself and to us.

Many parents move to the district, and tolerate the higher taxes, because of the academic rigor that sets their children up for attending Ivy League schools or receiving academic merit scholarships. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Tuesday warned that eliminating abortion rights would damage the U.S. economy and 'set women back decades.' 'I believe that eliminating the right of women to make decisions about when and whether to have children would have very damaging effects on the economy and would set women back decades,' she said at a Senate Banking Committee hearing. Yellen was asked about the draft Supreme Court opinion that indicated justices support overturning Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 case that legalized abortion, and the effect such a decision would have on the economy. 'It enabled many women to finish school that increase their earning potential and allowed

President Joe Biden once again ripped 'ultra MAGA' Republicans as he defended his plan to 'tackle' inflation on a day gas hit a record $4.37 per gallon.'I know you gotta be frustrated. I can taste it,' Biden said, speaking to the country from the White House as he argued that his actions on energy and the economy have eased price hikes – even as his plans to tax the wealthy and big corporations remain stalled in the Senate. 'I think our policies have helped, not hurt,' Biden said, asked about a leading Republican critic who accuses him of contributing to the problem. Biden once again stressed his 'ultra MAGA'

Steve Schmidt, a former senior strategist on then-Senator John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign, published a scathing expose and mea culpa late Sunday night and apologized publicly to the New York Times for denying reporting he now claims was accurate regarding McCain. “I would like to apologize to the journalists whose bylines appear on the story,” Schmidt wrote on his newly launched Substack. “Their credibility, integrity, and professionalism were unfairly attacked by the McCain campaign of which I was a part of. I got it wrong. These journalists, like many others, were also victims of this lie.” The story in question

Wells Fargo has become the latest major financial institution to set new greenhouse gas standards requiring borrowers in the energy sector to reduce emissions. Oil and natural gas companies must reduce their absolute emissions by 26% by 2030, based on 2019 emission levels, Wells Fargo said last week. Other power sector businesses must see a 60% reduction during the same time period. The new rules from Wells Fargo are part of a trend from financial institutions around the world to implement such climate regulations for its lending programs, joining the likes of Citigroup Inc. and the United Nations-convened Net-Zero Banking Alliance. The alliance is an industry-led coalition

Harrisburg, Pa.—With six days until Pennsylvania's primary, Republicans are openly worrying that a leading candidate in the crowded GOP field for governor is unelectable in the fall general election and will fumble away an opportunity for the party to take over the battleground state's executive suite. Doug Mastriano, 58, a state senator since 2019 and a retired U.S. Army colonel, is running to the right of the nine-person Republican field and against the party's establishment in a state still roiled by former President Donald Trump's baseless conspiracy theories that Democrats stole the 2020 election there. Mastriano is a prominent peddler of the unsubstantiated claims that widespread fraud marred

Barrington, Rhode Island, public schools are among the best in the state. Many parents move to the district, and tolerate the higher taxes, because of the academic rigor that sets their children up for attending Ivy League schools or receiving academic merit scholarships. However, all of that academic appeal is being chipped away after the district brought in a so-called "equity and inclusion" agenda. De-leveling, or a system of universal learning, was first implemented in Barrington on the most vulnerable students—the students with learning disabilities and Individualized Education Programs (IEP). In February 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19

Many of us were alarmed on Election Night 2020 when, while the results were looking good for Donald Trump, multiple states suddenly stopped counting votes. As the night wore on and went into the next day, it seemed that every update was favorable for Biden until he was ultimately named President-Elect. While Trump’s campaign repeatedly promised to “release the Kraken” and bring forward evidence of election fraud that would prove that the election was stolen, focusing on electronic voting machines, that evidence didn’t materialize. RedState’s Scott Hounsell pointed out various states and cities – even down to the precincts – that should be investigated, and that information

The gun-homicide rate jumped by a whopping 35% in 2020 against the backdrop of the pandemic while gun-involved suicides remained steady but alarmingly high, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a new report Tuesday. The report underscored the ripple effects of COVID-19’s impact on America and the agency’s decision to target gun violence after a decades-long silence. The overall firearm homicide rate jumped from 4.6 per 100,000 persons to 6.1 per 100,000 from 2019 to 2020, its highest level in nearly three decades. Rates increased among all age groups in both urban and rural areas and the largest increases were among Black

The Satanic Temple of the United States (TST) plans to file legal challenges against any states that restrict or ban abortions, claiming that such procedures constitute religious rituals for its adherents. As Fox News reports, TST released a statement declared that “in states that outlaw abortion but grant exceptions for instances of incest and rape, members should be permitted a religious exception to perform TST’s religious abortion ritual.” “States that outlaw abortion and do not grant exceptions present more significant challenges, but TST has a number of plans that we will be undertaking quite soon,” the statement continued.
