An innovative face mask for cows, designed to reduce methane emissions and slow down climate change, has won a prestigious design award. The wearable device for cattle, created by UK-based design group Zelp, was one of the four winners of the inaugural Terra Cart Design Lab competition. Prince Charles, who launched the competition as part of his Sustainable Markets Initiative, hailed the ground-breaking design as "fascinating" at an awards ceremony in London on Wednesday, The Telegraph reported. The design, a smart harness for cows, converts methane into carbon dioxide and water vapor. Cows expel significant quantities of methane, an odorless

Jill Biden is not an inherently interesting person. She’s been a teacher for some decades now, wrote an undistinguished thesis to get a meaningless Ed.D., and now functions as her husband’s nursemaid. She also lacks charm. And, of course, she’s White. Why someone thought a biography of her would be interesting is impossible to understand although a biography that took two people to write hit the market this past week—and completely bombed. (snip) Julie Page and Darlene Superville, both of whom are AP reporters, thought there was something there, something people would pay $26 for a hardback to learn about.

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the Disinformation Governance Board would not infringe on free speech or monitor Americans.Anchor Dana Bash said, “Let’s talk about what your department is calling, The Disinformation Governance Board that you unveiled this week. Republicans are calling it Orwellian and comparing it to the ministry of truth in the novel 1984. Can you clarify what exactly is this? What exactly will this disinformation governance board do? Will it monitor American citizens? ”Mayorkas said, “Dana, I’m very pleased to do so. It’s clear, I mean, those criticisms are precisely the opposite of what this

Actor Alec Baldwin pushed gun control Friday just months after Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed in an on set sequence in which Baldwin was holding the gun.
In a Friday Instagram post, the Boss Baby star wrote “We regulate many things in this country in the interest of public health and safety. Drugs, cars, professional licenses, etc. We need gun control reform. Now.”
Alec Baldwin did not describe the kinds of “gun control reform” that he wants to see, but he did post video in which numerous shots rang out near a South Carolina little league baseball game on Monday.

All Hillary Schubach wanted to do is something good for the environment. But after switching to driving a plug-in electric sedan, she quickly realized a new complication of apartment living: Access to a charging station. Schubach’s hardly alone. Even as it appears electric car sales are hitting a tipping point, those living in apartments and condominiums around the nation can find it difficult, expensive or outright impossible to find a way to plug in when they’re at home. With nearly one out of three households living in apartments or condominiums, the goal of switching to electric vehicles to fight climate

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney reportedly likes to go incognito while in Palm Beach, Florida.
The Utah conservative has been wearing hats while dining out in the wealthy oceanside enclave, where he has a vacation home, in an effort to disguise himself, a family friend told the authors of the new book "This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America's Future."
"If he were recognized by Trump supporters there, there was a good chance he would be harassed," New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns wrote. Former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort is also in Palm Beach.

Deborah Birx, in an interview with ABC News about her new book, “Silent Invasion: The Untold Story of the Trump Administration, COVID-19, and Preventing the Next Pandemic Before It’s Too Late,’ said she had a pact with medical bureaucrats—Anthony Fauci, Robert Redfield, Stephen Hahn and perhaps others—that all would resign if even one were removed by then-President Donald Trump. This is an astonishing admission. It’s essentially an acknowledgement that medical bureaucrats, unelected and unaccountable to the people as they were and are, serving at the pleasure of the White House executive as they did, tried to strong-arm the president of the United States into obeying

In a sign that Ukraine's just war for survival against Russian attack is growing more partisan-politicized and subject to domestic U.S. politics, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has turned up in Kyiv, along with six other extemely rabid leftist Democrats. The junketeers met with Ukraine's President Volodomyr Zelensky, who welcomed them warmly, as he always does with assorted political pilgrims these days.
According to the Daily Mail:
U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has led a congressional delegation to Kyiv to meet with Ukraine's president before heading to Poland for talks with officials there on Sunday.

Employees of the tech giant Apple are revolting against a plan to get staff back into the office for three days a week, claiming it will make the company “younger, whiter and more male-dominated”. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, has said his proposed “hybrid working pilot” for US, Europe and UK employees is an attempt to balance the corporate benefits of in-office working with the personal advantages that working from home gives staff members. A group of US-based Apple employees have formed an organisation dubbed “Apple Together” and claim the initiative is “only driven by fear”. The unnamed staff have sent

The Republican governor of Arkansas on Sunday said a run for president is “on the table” for 2024 — even if former President Donald Trump decides to enter the race.
Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who is term-limited, said he believes the country has to move beyond Trump, who has yet to officially announce whether he intends to run again.Asked on CNN’s “State of the Union” about a potential bid for the White House, Hutchinson told host Dana Bash: “I am. But of course you’ve got to get through this year. That’s an option on the table.”

Comedian James Corden opened the 2022 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner with a sketch of him taking over the duties of Press Secretary Jen Psaki, which included a cameo from a reporter she regularly clashes with, Fox News' Peter Doocy. The Late Late Show host eagerly took to the podium to take questions from reporters following a briefing with Psaki and President Joe Biden, but the ill-prepared Corden was immediately flanked with complicated questions from reporters. Among them was Doocy, who Biden was recorded calling a 'stupid son of a b****' in January, with Psaki echoing similar remarks earlier this month. Despite the critical comments from them, Doocy played his part
