Republican Sen. Mitt Romney reportedly likes to go incognito while in Palm Beach, Florida.
The Utah conservative has been wearing hats while dining out in the wealthy oceanside enclave, where he has a vacation home, in an effort to disguise himself, a family friend told the authors of the new book "This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America's Future."
"If he were recognized by Trump supporters there, there was a good chance he would be harassed," New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns wrote. Former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort is also in Palm Beach.

In his dreams trump supporters care about him.
His handlers gave him 2 choices for publicity: (1) have some Antifa goons wear MAGA hats and threaten him, or (2) say that he was afraid of threats but was cleverly able to outsmart them.
#2 was much less work.

Pierre Delecto, you made your bed, now sleep in it. You brought this on yourself by becoming a never-Trumper. And for what - for the ugly fun of doing it in admiration of the deep state. Supporting you in 2012 was the biggest mistake I ever made.

Proof/Pudding...He should try wearing a red Trump hat...THAT will trigger confrontations, and not from Trumpians.

I think Trump supporters would rather watch the waves than harass a egotistical fake republican….dream on Romney…he’s afraid no one will know him!

I strongly oppose bothering anyone in the public domain, politician, actor, singer, or whatever, when they are off duty.
If we bother Romney, we are no better than that woke black congresswoman from California, who told her people to get in the faces of media conservatives. And some people did, going after Tucker Carlson, in particular, while he was sitting in a restaurant with his family.
I don't like Romney, but I would not bother him while he is on vacation.
Let's be bigger than that.

#9, from your commensts over the years, I deduce you and I have a lot in common but in this matter of
bothering" people in public when they are "off duty," although I agree in the case of ALL other occupations, I respectuflly diasagree when it comes to POLITICIANS, for the reason these are the people who are running and ruining OUR LIVES, therefore they are NEVER "off-duty" and ALWAYS legimitate targets of opportunity wherever and whenever they may be found.

Cripes. Another anti-Trumper in Florida? Don't they know the state is run by pro-Trumpers who want to spread COVID freely and won't let you say gay anywhere. In fact, they've banned "Deck the Halls" this Christmas until the line "Don we now our gay apparel" is changed?
Sarcasm key 🔑 now OFF.

Sorry, #9, having been a recipient of a harassing group of political zealots, I am becoming more "John Rambo" in dealing with these zombies. They drew first blood, not me.
Let's play...

Every Mormon I encountered in the Army was...awesome. My battery commander, my First Sergeant, my Fire Direction Officer, were all Mormons. I even confronted my 1st Sergeant in private over this.

In Palm Beach, Romney was in friendly country. It is very, very blue. The rest of Florida…not so much. I wish he’d go home and stop spoiling our beautiful state.

Anyone who spots Romney in public has an obligation to dox him by sending a pic on Truth Social GETTR or even Twitter with location. When you pass him in a public venue, dont confront him, just let out an audible TRAITOR! He will get the message very soon.

FTA:
As some Republicans began to embrace Trump again after he left office, others — including Romney's wife Ann — were fearful for their safety, the authors wrote. She told the authors that her five sons were proud of their father but unsure about the Republican Party.
They really fancy themselves, don’t they… Hats or no hats, he’d be recognized by that yellow stripe down his back. Ignoring him would bug him more.
