Yesterday, amid the ongoing bladder loosening that has accompanied Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter, leaks started coming from inside the tech company. Politico reported that “Twitter’s top lawyer reassures staff, cries during meeting about Musk takeover.” The lawyer, Vijaya Gadde, has played a major role in some of Twitter’s most controversial decisions, such as removing former President Trump and censoring The New York Post from the platform for reporting an accurate story about the damning Hunter Biden laptop weeks before his father was elected president amid real questions about his involvement in his son’s corruption.

Best case scenario Musk throws out all the CommuNazis & eventually the whole thing dies on the vine. These sites are not a positive influence on society.

I don't care how liberal or not Musk is, if he truly supports stopping the censorship.

CNN political commentator Van Jones was very blunt Friday, asserting that the day-to-day lives of black Americans have worsened under the lack of leadership by President Joe Biden and claimed that Democrats have “overpromised, underdelivered so far.” Van Jones appeared on CNN’s “New Day” with co-host John Berman. He tore into Biden and fellow Democrats over cratering poll numbers, especially among black voters. A Gallup poll this month showed Biden’s approval rating among black Americans optimistically standing at 67 percent. The kicker is that number has dropped a shocking 20 percent since he took office.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) revealed in testimony during the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard $100 million defamation trial that it had ghost-written the Washington Post op-ed allegedly accusing Depp of domestic abuse, reportedly timing it for the release of “Aquaman” in which she played a role. The ACLU also stated that Heard had only donated $1.3 million to their coffers after promising in 2016 to fork over $3.5 million from her divorce settlement with Depp, stating that the actress was having financial difficulties.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas claimed he didn’t know the Biden administration’s newly appointed “disinformation” czar had actively pushed faked news regarding the now-infamous Steele Dossier, used to smear former President Donald Trump, and Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell.” Testifying before the House Judiciary Committee, Mayorkas was asked by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) if he knew who Nina Jankowicz is, the woman Fox News’s Tucker Carlson on Thursday called, “the most ridiculous of all in [President Joe] Biden’s Ministry of Truth.”

Yesterday, April 27, there was a pre-trial hearing in the Michael Sussmann case relating to various evidentiary issues. For the uninitiated, Sussmann a former Perkins Coie partner, and former attorney for the DNC/Clinton Campaign (and Rodney Joffe), has been charged by Special Counsel John Durham with providing false statements to then-FBI General Counsel James Baker in the fall of 2016. Here is more background on his indictment. We have the full transcript of yesterday’s hearing (link at the bottom). Here are some of the most notable disclosures:

Black Lives Matter began as a hashtag marking the death of Trayvon Martin and the failure to find justice after his killing. In the years since, Black Lives Matter has grown into a movement with international recognition and power. (snip) Now, one of those core groups, the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, is the subject of a recent report about its finances, specifically its purchase of a $6 million home in Malibu, California, under the guidance of the group’s former leader, Patrisse Cullors, ostensibly as both a safe house and as a space to film social media videos.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., is America's most unpopular senator, according to a Morning Consult poll released Monday. Just one-third of Kentuckians, 33%, approve of McConnell's job performance, while 60% disapprove. The most popular U.S. senator is South Dakota Republican Sen. John Thune, who has a 62% approval rating with a 28% disapproval rating, the poll showed. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., showed the largest approval increase, despite facing harsh criticism from fellow Democrats over his moderate views.

Uber's decision to waive delivery fees from black-owned restaurants during the George Floyd riots could cost the company $91 million. A New York appeals court ruled this week that the ride-share giant must pay the costs to the American Arbitration Association (AAA), which is handling 31,000 claims against the race-based promotion, which users say violated civil rights law. Uber's terms of use provide that disputes with the company will be settled in arbitration administered by the AAA. The conservative litigation boutique Consovoy McCarthy PLLC under that provision filed demands against the company on behalf of thousands of customers.

This is getting seriously out of hand. Good grief, that’s almost $50 billion in aid, plus the billions in distributed weapons. Biden is asking for U.S. taxpayers to fund the budget, salaries and pension obligations of the Ukraine government. Biden made his request in a letter [SEE HERE] to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi:

WASHINGTON — Citing growing worries about high gasoline prices, Democratic leaders announced an effort Thursday to give the Federal Trade Commission increased authority to crack down on companies that engage in price gouging. In doing so, they downplayed the possibility of other options such as a federal gas tax holiday or offering oil companies more government incentives to increase production. Instead, they said the FTC needs more tools, including stiffer fines and penalties and a team of dedicated experts to monitor markets and go after price gouging. With voters concerned about the growing toll of inflation, Democrats again signaled their intention

When Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas recently unveiled his “six pillar plan” for dealing with the crisis on our southern border, he certainly didn’t mention this truly awful idea. During his recent testimony before Congress, Mayorkas slipped in one option that Joe Biden is reportedly considering. In order to provide better care for the tens of thousands of illegal aliens streaming across the border, the White House is looking at the possibility of diverting funding from the Veterans Administration for that situation. Additionally, some of the doctors and nurses tasked with caring for our veterans could be reassigned to providing care for the illegals.

Joe Biden is in trouble. His Democrats are collapsing at the polls based on his disastrous first term and now midterms are around the corner. What's a failed president to do? Dole out the goodies, of course, some big ones in a desperate bid to win back younger leftist voters. According to CBS News: President Biden is looking at different options to forgive an unspecified but substantial amount of federal student loan debt — a move that would thrill some of his most loyal supporters and financially strapped students nationwide, but is a departure from campaign pledges to provide limited relief. The president shared his plans during a 90-minute White House meeting Monday

National pollster Richard Baris, colloquially known as “the People’s Pundit,” is calling attention to a massive issue that plagues Republican governance in the United States – GOP voters despise the elected officials who are elevated to office, and vice versa. This unfortunate situation is reflected in recent polling data, according to Baris, which shows GOP leaders, like Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy, having critically low favorability among Republican voters. McConnell’s approval rating, specifically, is in the toilet, with just 9.7% of Republicans having a “very favorable” opinion of him.

A man cops say is Guerrero was then filmed brutally-attacking his victim while wearing knuckle-dusters while his posse jumped on the man's car and stole it.
