Coming to America: Food Insecurity Is Inevitable

Original Article

Posted By: ladydawgfan, 4/25/2022 3:23:05 PM

After one-third of the horrific term of President Joe Biden is almost complete, the United States of America is facing a series of mind-boggling crises. The Biden administration’s COVID-19 response focused on forcing Americans to wear masks and take vaccines. The President pushed mandates and lockdowns, instead of freedom. The toll on our economy, overall health and psychological well-being has been staggering. This week, in their commitment to continue these policies, the administration refused to abandon the unnecessary and ridiculous mask mandate for public transportation and will appeal a federal judge’s sensible ruling striking down this unpopular mandate.

Just imagine if you will that over TWO MILLION new mouths to feed came over the Southern border LAST YEAR, and 223,000 (probably one quarter of a million when you include the "got aways") JUST IN MARCH of this year (Last Month!) and when the Tsunami INVASION comes after Title 42 is over, and you have maybe another 5 million added on before the November mid-terms!!!!!! When are the American People going to say ENOUGH??? Too many people chasing too few food reserves is ust going to make the price be out of reach to feed those footing the bill-- With the outrageous and UNNECESSARY high price of gasoline makes the cost of fertilizer out of reach there will be less planted meaning shortages that will raise the price even HIGHER..... Do nothing Republicans had better get religion FAST because the demonrat socialist marxist are heading us for fast destruction as a nation

We would do wise to stock up on basics: canned vegetables, canned soups, saltines, rice, potatoes (how do you store them for long periods of time?), tinned meats, flour, sugar, yeast, coffee, tea, dried beans, etc. Don't forget toilet paper! This may sound crazy. But I don't trust much of anything anymore. I certainly don't trust our politicians.

Don't forget that most of the idiots, layabouts, leftist loons and inner city parasites who burned down their own grocery stores are going to die in the civil war. Ergo, the food supply will double.

Life has always been uncertain. I have been of the view that one needs to learn the fundamentals of feeding one's self and family, at the bottom of the basics. NOT just stopping at the restaurant, or the grocery store. A person should be able to raise a garden, hunt and raise animals and slaughter them, and preserve the meat, hides and garden produce with simple methods which might be all that are available in "hard times". We live on 10 acres, with two small creeks, and know these basic skills, have tools for the basics of food gathering, growing, harvesting and preservation. City people who know absolutely nothing of where food comes from have always seemed amazingly out of touch with reality to me. When I got out of college, my first efforts after getting a job were to acquire and pay off a plot of rural land in Virginia as a hedge against possible collapse of the economy. I could always travel there, use the timber on it to build a cabin and start a basic subsidence lifestyle if need be. Fortunately, there has been no need. But the new century is young, who knows what is in store for us.

If the grocery store warehouses can run out, no doubt personal warehouses can as well. I'm pretty sure our chickens will keep laying, our pigs will keep having piglets, our cows will have calves, our fields will still grow and our gardens will keep family and friends from getting hungry. I used to be all Aerospace, all Computer Science... but I've diversified my portfolio, (and no longer need a gym membership). I highly suggest it.

The writing has been on the wall for some time now as to just how bad it is likely to be for Democrats going into the 2022 fall midterm elections. Joe Biden’s (and Kamala Harris’) approval ratings are in the toilet, and Biden is polling poorly on his handling of key issues like the economy, inflation, and illegal immigration. Further, Biden’s support among key voting blocs is cratering, and most generic Congressional ballot polls show Republicans with a distinct advantage over Democrats. Any one of the above issues would be concerning for a political party in a crucial election year.

According to the Daily Mail, users who type out certain words will be faced with several suggestions encouraging them to adopt language that is gender-neutral, or otherwise more politically correct. For example, “landlord” will yield suggestions such as “proprietor” or “property owner,” while “mankind” will lead to the suggestion of “humankind.” “Policeman” is now recommended to be “police officers,” while “housewife” is to be replaced with “stay-at-home spouse.” This feature also applies to transcriptions of interviews and speeches from the past.

to be “truly shocked” by a poll showing President Biden with a 33 percent approval rating. I was shocked, too — how could his approval rating be that high? Blow, of course, is surprised at Biden’s unpopularity, and worried that the Democrats are stumbling into a bloodbath in the November midterms. Blow is paid to understand and explain politics and culture to his readers. That he is surprised reveals a lot about the bubble he is in. And his meandering analysis of Democrats’ problems illustrates how the ideology making Democrats unpopular is also preventing them from understanding why they are unpopular.

What was once known as the Southern border of the United States is essentially nonexistent in this second year of Old Joe Biden’s misrule, and so it was no surprise Monday when it came to light that in 2021, the Border Patrol had caught at least 23 people at the border who are on the Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB). Terrorists can see what’s happening at the border as much as anyone else can; why shouldn’t they take advantage of the mess Old Joe has made? And those 23, of course, were just the ones who got caught.

Responses would range from “Hell yes” to “Hell no” — with a myriad of other responses and plenty of heated debate in between. While favorability ratings, head-to-head projections, and various other projection tools are of course based on currently available sentiment and data, and numbers can change in a political heartbeat as situations or future developments warrant, Trump bests Biden in virtually every poll and survey. It’s hard to see that changing.
