Something of a garden industry has developed on the fringe and mouthbreathing left that is seeking to harass any GOP incumbent who didn’t literally besh** themselves over the demonstrations in and around the US Capitol on January 6. They attempt to use Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to disqualify candidates from office by claiming against all empirical evidence that an “insurrection” took place. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress,

Speaking of 'insurrection', how many participants in the mostly peaceful Jan. 6th demonstration has Attorney General trans-Granny Clampett convicted? charged? indicted?

Since January 6, the media and Democrats (but I repeat myself) have repeatedly and purposefully used the odd word "insurrection," and the reason for this word choice is clear. They actually think they can invoke Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to block "insurrectionists" from holding office. All along, they have had their eyes on blocking one "insurrectionist" in particular from holding office again -- Donald Trump.

You know, what goes around comes around. If I were folks like Schiff, Swalwell, Omar and Tlaib, I wouldn't spend much time preparing for House committee meetings come January of 2023.

The shameful and embarrassing fact about this whole “insurrection” thing is the near complete absence of conservatives with courage enough to stand up for the unfortunate folks still being persecuted. All because of an innocent visit to D.C. to support President Trump following what most now, even congenital liberals, agree was a “stolen” election. I know, most politicians of any species are in it for the power and money. To “serve” the people, sure, we believe you. Still, if they had any judgement. they should recognize that taking a stand of principle would help them with citizens of good sense.

Democrats are making loud noises about January 6th again, claiming that coming revelations will “blow the roof” off the House of Representatives. Jamie Raskin, who serves on the January 6th Committee, recently claimed while speaking at Georgetown University that he and his colleagues will present “evidence” that Donald Trump coordinated with white nationalist and fascist groups “in order to support the coup.” This comes via NBC News, which reported on Raskin’s comments. “The hearings will tell a story that will really blow the roof off the House,” Raskin said Thursday at an event hosted by Georgetown University’s Center on Faith and Justice in Washington.
Lefties in Panic Over Biden Support Collapse

Presidentish Joe Biden is so far underwater with younger voters that he’s reached crush depth, and that has some lefties in a panic. The ones with their eyes open, that is. The rest are deep enough in denial that concerned friends ought to stage an intervention. We’ll get to them in a moment, but first, the ugly numbers. They were brought to my attention Wednesday evening, when I was checking out political Twitter instead of setting the table like I said I would — occupational hazard. There, Canadian leftie Jeet Heer was sounding the alarm about the “collapse of support for Biden among young” people, which he described as “a disaster.”
Dems' Midterms Panic Means More Election

These are rough times for the Democrats. Everywhere they look, November’s midterm elections are like a freight train rushing down a mountain with no brakes, hurtling toward them as they struggle helplessly while tied to the tracks. They have been losing Latino voters since Trump was president. Now the youth vote — a usually reliable demographic for the Dems — has decidedly soured on the septuagenarian disaster that’s occupying the Oval Office. It’s plain for all to see that Biden’s puppet masters and the Democrats in Congress don’t have any ideas that will cause a major course correction before the midterms. That can only mean one thing:

A few days ago, the New York Times ran yet another article questioning former President Donald Trump's status as a kingmaker within the Republican Party. Author Shane Goldmacher offers some interesting data points: for example, the fact that Trump's political action committee has a war chest of $120 million-plus. (If a March article in Politico is correct, that's $10 million more than Trump had just one month ago, and more than double what either the Republican National Committee or the Democratic National Committee has in their coffers.) Goldmacher mocks the aspiring GOP candidates who visit Mar-a-Lago (Trump's Palm Beach home) as "supplicants," "sycophants" and "Trump whisperers."

State lawmakers in Rhode Island are pushing legislation that would require every person in the state 16 years of age and older to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and punish those who refuse to do so. Local outlet NBC 10 reported Tuesday that two state Senators have removed their names from the bill, Bill S.2552. NBC 10 noted that those who violate the proposed mandate would “face a civil penalty of $50 and shall owe twice the amount of personal income taxes.” Employers would be responsible to enforce the mandate and require vaccine proof from employees or face a $5,000 fine for each worker who is unvaccinated.

I really am flummoxed by the ineptitude of President Joe Biden and his chief of staff, Ron Klain. Biden has been a Washington politician for half a century, including eight years as vice president and before that a senior senator. Klain is a consummate Washington insider, having worked for Janet Reno, Al Gore, Biden and others. How are they this inept? Last summer, the border got swamped with migrants. They sent Vice President Kamala Harris south of the border and the situation never improved. Activists accused border patrol agents of whipping refugees with horsewhips. The White House condemned the act. But an investigation recently revealed no immigrants were whipped.

Perhaps because I was bullied as a child, I made sure to enroll my kids in a “Bully Proof” Jiu Jitsu class. The first rule of dealing with bullies is to “avoid the fight at all costs.” That’s the second rule too. But, at some point, you have to defend yourself to avoid becoming a victim. One of the hardest parts of standing up to a bully is that they’re often loud and aggressive, narcissistic and angry. Some bullies are even skilled at making it appear they’re the victim. To defend against a bully, you must set good boundaries. That kind of boundary setting

President Joe Biden's Department of Justice (DOJ) has decided to appeal Judge Mizelle's ruling. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has also told the DOJ to reinstate the mandate. Speaking with CBS News' Robert Costa, Dr. Fauci lamented that a judge would dare to rule on the mask mandate as it applied to the CDC overstepping its authority, including when it comes to the Administrative Procedure Act (APA). On one level, the claim by media personality Piers Morgan that Donald Trump “stormed off” the set when he brought up the 2020 presidential election is just plain creepy. But if the only side of the story you get is from Morgan trying to goose ratings for his new show — the side the mainstream media wants you to see — Trump comes off as an unhinged maniac. [Video] But thankfully — in the interest of an accurate and complete historical record — the Trump team made an audio recording of the interview that, lo and behold, does not show the former president “storming” off the set.

The account is lethal at exposing the liberal agenda. It’s why the Left went after her. Even when the story went live yesterday, you knew she wasn’t scared.
