NFL sets meetings between owners and diversity
coach, GM talent (white guys not invited)

Pete Carroll said NFL owners should "stop living in their own universe" and get more comfortable with minority coaches that don’t look like them during a session at the league’s annual meeting in Palm Beach last month and that’s exactly what the NFL has mandated will happen. The league last week sent out a memo to all clubs announcing that 32 "diverse, prospective club-nominated head coach and general manager prospects will have networking opportunities with club and league office executives" at the NFL’s spring meeting on May 23 and 24. The memo doesn’t say it, but it’s simply a fact: No white males will be included.

Comments:

In a show of support for the NFL and its inclusive policies, I say go a step further and refuse to accept any money from white fans too. No more filthy lucre from those racist whites!! Those stadiums will sure be empty, though.

In this era of "equity" or "equality" having a cattle call for black front office candidates is a "so what?". One can imagine most of these are well-known around NFL circles in one capacity or another. Now, strong-arming teams to hire on the basis of race...that's another matter. Today's NFL is a far cry from that of the '60s and '70s. It is no longer just "a man's game". Women comprise a large part of the market, buying swag and tickets as the men do. Games are an event, entertainment. Don't like the show, ignore it. Pretend it's Disney and another gay movie for kids.

Sure, reverse racism is the winning move. Especially when your target audience is made up of 80% white folks. However, I'm pretty sure that most NFL fans don't give a rat's rear end what color the coach is or the players. The results are all that matter.

The solution is simple: all of the white males should reflect upon their sins of being white and male and self identify as a minority transgender female.

Pete Carol is totally right. In fact a black head coach never woulda had Wilson throw a pass on the 1 yard line instead of letting Marshawn Lynch run it in on three tries, like any intelligent person would have done. Vs the Patriots. You remember. Anutha brutha, Butler, intercepted the ball. Pats win. Carol should name names of the prejudiced front offices and coaches or Shut Up. Anybody "uncomfortable" with brothers in pro sports would be in the wrong business. idjits. Nonsense.

Appearing on CNN’s "At This Hour with Kate Bolduan," Toobin agreed with Jackson’s argument that current child porn sentences have yet to be adapted for a "post-internet" society.

In a profile published Wednesday in The New York Times, Griffin recalled reaching out to Zucker 10 days before the broadcast in 2016 and told him she felt she deserved more than her $80,000 contract since "she was carrying more of the prep work" than her co-host, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper. According to Griffin, Zucker "got very offended." "He started yelling at me and he literally said something like, ‘Who do you think you are calling here demanding a raise?’

If Rittenhouse is convicted, he will likely stop being a right-wing mascot and become a right-wing martyr. The New York Times published an op-ed Friday that proposes eliminating belief in God — as one of the holiest weekends of the year begins. Titled “In This Time of War, I Propose We Give Up God,” the article claims that God is responsible for “war and violence” and for “oppression and suffering,” and suggests that people stop teaching children about Him. Author Shalom Auslander, who is disillusioned about his upbringing in a religious Jewish community in New York, argues (original emphasis): God, it seems, paints with a wide brush. He paints with a roller. In Egypt, said our rabbi, he even killed first-born cattle.
