Police announced earlier that Frank R. James was a “person of interest” in the Brooklyn subway attack in which at least 10 people were shot and at least 13 others were injured. The police have not yet said whether or not they believe he is the shooter in the attack. They believe James rented a U-haul vehicle they have connected to the attack.
Police describe how they worked it out. The attacker used a smoke bomb inside a subway car in Brooklyn and then shot people in the car. The suspect was described as a 5’5″ black male, heavyset, in a green construction vest and a gray sweatshirt.

The NY Times article tonight on this stuff does not go beyond describing his social media and YouTube posts as racist and bigoted. Against who is a question mark. Zero context.

PLEASE-according to dems there IS no extremism unless it is support of Trump and Republicans. S/O I bet this guy will be out 2 days after he is taken in. And you voters in NY keep voting for the guys that are letting the bad guys do you harm. If that is what you want then please, when it happens, keep it to yourselves. It was on TV ALL DAY yesterday and for what? He will be let out to do it again and you guys will vote for more of it in November. My father used to say, "How dumb can you be"? Well, now we know.

Of course he hates. Anyone who went to the degree of planning the attack, hates. From his own social media (Facebook, Twitter) words, he hates all "Whites". That means his crime is a "Hate Crime", right lefties? No matter how the alphabets spin, this Frank James hates whites. BTW, why wasn't this James on the FBI's radar? Was the FBI too busy worrying about Woke Spit?

FTA: He also makes anti-white comments, saying black people and white people shouldn’t be on the same planet.
How does that statement make him extremist or racist? Many people now hold the same opinion.

That term "person of interest" has got to go. In a crime there are three kinds of people. Suspects, complainants and witnesses. Person Of Interest was invented as a way to have a suspect without allowing them the rights of a suspect. Just another little way our liberty is being chipped away because it is inconvenient.

Not to worry. The vaulted FBI was keeping track of him and once again failing spectacularly.

In NYC gun control regulation is so tight that it's almost impossible for a law abiding citizen to obtain a concealed carry permit, which are readily available in many other states, and not needed at all in some 23 constitutional carry states. There are about 4,000 permit holders among NYC's city's eight million citizens. Such permits are unavailable unless one has political connections, or is an ex-cop or security guard. In the Big Apple you're not allowed to defend yourself against deadly attack with the most effective form of deadly force (a firearm). That's a good enough reason for many people to move out, and for many more never to consider even visiting there.
Note that tight gun control never seems to inconvenience violent criminals, who by definition don't follow the law anyway. Pass 10,000 new gun control laws or try to do the same by illegal executive orders, and the criminals will still be armed with whatever guns they prefer, even machine guns. In New York and other deep blue cities--the criminals will always have the advantage until their victims are armed in sufficient numbers to scare off at least some of the criminals. When the bad people have to worry every day about dying while pulling a job, maybe at long last they'll decide to cleanse their lives. If they don't clean up, they'll wind up on the wrong end of a gun, whether police or civilian. Either way, they can wind up permanently two dimensional if good people have deadly recourse.
