Abigail Disney inherited her fortune from her famous family, which built an empire on selling the public an idealized version of Main Street, USA. Now the left-wing heiress is trashing the same ideal in a new documentary in which she calls the American Dream a “nightmare” for most people. The American Dream and Other Fairy Tales, which premiered this year at the Sundance Film Festival, examines the pay gap of Disney employees — focusing on wage earners, or “cast members,” at Disneyland, some of whom say they are unable to afford sufficient food on their pay.

ROME, Italy — Pope Francis accused the West of racism Friday, insisting migrants are “subdivided” by skin color and country of origin.“Refugees are subdivided,” the pontiff declared during a lengthy Good Friday interview on Italian television. “There’s first class, second class, skin color, [whether] they come from a developed country [or] one that is not developed.”“We are racists, we are racists. And this is bad,” the pope stated. As he has done on other occasions, Francis compared the current problem of migrants and refugees to the flight into Egypt of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus when King Herod was seeking to kill him.

Another day, another instance of President Joe Biden making stuff up, and another reason for Americans to be mortified. No, folks, this isn’t some sort of nightmare you’re in, one that you can’t wake up from. This is really happening.
During an appearance yesterday at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University in Greensboro, Biden gave a speech about the importance of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). As is so often the case with the president, he went off-script again and just totally lied about his past.

New York Times columnist and – we’re constantly reminded – Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman says that inflation, which hit another new high this month, will soon abate. Why? Because, he wrote on Tuesday, “Lumber prices have plunged in recent weeks. Prices of industrial metals such as copper are coming down. Prices of used cars are still very high, but their surge has stalled and they may have peaked.”
Oh, wait. That was from a column that Krugman wrote in June 2021. [snip] What Krugman actually wrote this Tuesday was that “inflation will probably fall significantly over the next few months.”
Why? Because, he now says, oil prices have moderated and retailers are

Houston, we have a problem. Let me rephrase that: America, the left-wing sockpuppet media has a problem — a problem that has now reached Planet Looney Tunes levels of panicked hysteria.
The best part of all? The histrionics have also reached pay-per-view quality level, but it’s all free!
The latest unintentional comedian was none other than MSNBC anchor Katy Tur, who has been making a fool out of herself for years. Tur’s effort came on Thursday, as the left’s meltdown continued, first over Elon Musk acquiring 9.2 percent of Twitter, then reaching cataclysmic proportions when Musk announced a hostile takeover bid of the social media giant known for censoring conservative content

When Sen. Marco Rubio (R–Fla.) was seeking the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, a local paper noted that he had "a long history speaking out against marijuana legalization." Given that history and the fact that Rubio's position is rejected by two-thirds of Americans, you might think he would be prepared to defend marijuana prohibition with cogent arguments. If so, you would be wrong.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki was asked during a Pod Save America taping if Fox News Channel's White House correspondent Peter Doocy was a 'stupid son of a b***h' or just played one on TV. 'He works for a network that provides people with questions that, nothing personal to any individual including Peter Doocy, but might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a b***h,' Psaki replied during the Pod's D.C. taping Thursday night. The episode was released online Friday. Psaki also said President Joe Biden would not be traveling to Ukraine, despite him telling reporters Thursday morning that, 'yeah,' he was up for the trip.

Russia has confirmed the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet has sunk after what Ukraine said was a missile attack by their forces. If the facts are as claimed, the sinking is the most significant warship loss in decades, and possibly since the Second World War.
Russian state media has confirmed the guided-missile cruiser and erstwhile flagship of the Black Sea Fleet, the Moskva (Moscow) sunk on Thursday. The total loss of the ship comes after what Ukrainian state media claimed was a strike on the ship by two of their domestically produced “Neptune” (Нептун) missiles on Wednesday. The Ukrainians said they’d caused major damage to the warship.

Fox News has parted company with Laura Logan, the journalist contends, for relaying viewers’ comments that Dr. Anthony Fauci does not represent science, as the Biden adviser has claimed, and instead represents Nazi doctor Josef Mengele. Logan, formerly with CBS News, had in mind the fallout from COVID, but a different context might be more appropriate.
Josef Mengele earned a medical degree in 1938, the same year he joined the Nazis’ Waffen SS, where he volunteered for medical service. At Nazi concentration camps, Mengele would decide which arrivals would live or die.

Transgender and gender-questioning teenagers are more likely than their peers to engage in risky sexual behavior, commit suicide and be the victims of bullying, according to new medical research.
The study by Vanderbilt University researchers Gilbert Gonzales and Cameron Deal found that transgender and questioning teenagers reported experiencing bullying, sexual and dating violence, mental health problems, suicidal tendencies, risky sexual behaviors, and drug and alcohol abuse at higher levels than that of their peers.
And more transgender students reported these health disparities than their gender-questioning peers.(Snip)Of the 197,149 teenagers surveyed, 96.6% said they identified with the gender of their biological sex. Only 1.8% of high school students
