The majority of Americans approve of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law — misreported by the left-wing media and activists as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill —  according to a poll publicized by the Editorial Board at the Wall Street Journal. That includes 55 percent of Democrats and 53 percent Americans who voted for Joe Biden. The bill that Gov. Ron DeSantis signed into law, which does mention “gay” in its text, prohibits classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity in Florida public schools in kindergarten through third grade. “When Americans are presented with the actual language of the new Florida law, it wins support by more than a two-to-one margin,”

It's time for a "Don't say straight" bill. I can't remember where I read that but I think it would be a good idea. We need to continue to use offense against these gender fantasies.

The article says it mentions gay in the law, we've been told all week that gay was not mentioned. Is this right?

== Headline Correction == Poll: Majority of Americans Approve of Florida’s ‘Anti Sexual Predators' Law, Including 55% of Democrats And to reiterate, the 7-page double-spaced type-written law, which only takes about 10 minutes to read if anyone in any media would bother, never says "gay" or anything about "gay". What it talks about is having secret conversations about sex with small children, and how that's not legal. Anybody that opposes this law is picking a side in the war on our children. They should take a long look in the mirror, and really consider which side they're picking. Then they should donate to a shelter for abused kids in penance.

My policy is that if a word is well established in English usage it should be off limits for anyone to object or be offended by normal use. I obviously never ever use the so called n word as it is specifically derogatory and intended to give offense. But where relevant I have no problem with using the word negro - neither did MLK. Gay is a perfectly legitimate word which, I believe, homosexuals have no right to usurp.

Washington - Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski and Mitt Romney say they will vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s “historic nomination” to the Supreme Court, bolstering bipartisan support for the first Black woman to be nominated for the court. The senators from Alaska and Utah announced their decisions Monday evening ahead of a procedural Senate vote to advance the nomination. They join Sen. Washington - President Joe Biden on Monday called for a war crimes trial against Russia President Vladimir Putin and said he’d seek more sanctions after reported atrocities in Ukraine. “You saw what happened in Bucha,” Biden said. He added that Putin “is a war criminal.” Biden’s comments to reporters came after Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Bucha, one of the towns surrounding Kyiv where Ukrainian officials say the bodies of civilians have been found. Zelenskyy called the Russian actions “genocide” and called for the West to apply tougher sanctions against Russia. Biden, however, stopped short

Just a day prior, CNN had proclaimed “Top Putin ally facing tough reelection fight in Hungary,” a take that aged like spoiled milk. Once it became clear that Orban had won, CNN then put out a story entitled “Viktor Orban, Hungary’s authoritarian leader and key Putin ally, calls Zelensky an ‘opponent’ after winning reelection.” Hungary’s authoritarian leader and longtime Russian ally, Viktor Orban, clinched a fourth consecutive term in power on Sunday, after a landslide election win

Nothing—literally nothing—has managed to boost Biden’s approval ratings. Not even his Supreme Court nomination was able to dig him out of the hole he dug himself in, and now it seems that the White House has pushed the panic button because they’ve invited Barack Obama to participate in a White House event this week to celebrate the so-called successes of Obamacare. According to an agenda for the week released by the White House on Sunday evening, Biden, Kamala Harris, and Barack Obama will each “deliver remarks celebrating the success of the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid in extending affordable health insurance to millions of Americans as part of the President’s

Come July 1, Florida employers who mandate diversity training programs to their workers would be well advised to take note of what those programs say — and how they say it. The so-called “Stop Woke Act” passed by the Legislature this month and soon to be signed into law by Gov. Ron DeSantis, restricts how programs aimed at promoting diversity in the workplace can be presented to employees. The idea is to protect workers as well as students in schools from language that might make them feel “uncomfortable” by references to past acts of bias and discrimination around the country. Among other things, the bill makes it unlawful to “subject a person

Another seance with the ghost of Cardinal Richelieu explains Putin’s objectives in Ukraine: Russia will ruin and depopulate Ukraine, the way Richelieu reduced large parts of Germany to cannibalism during the Thirty Years War. Shortly after I conjured the spirit of Europe’s greatest (and nastiest) strategist, the Telegram channel of Russia’s most fanatic nationalist, Aleksandr Dugin, featured the item below: NATO says the military phase of the conflict in Ukraine is far from over. Of course, no one will let Zelensky make peace. Ukraine is not a subject, but an object, where the Zelensky regime is not an actor, but a tool. “Therefore, it is necessary to

“We absolutely stand by the president’s comment.” With those words, White House communications director Kate Bedingfield reaffirmed that President Biden maintains his son Hunter Biden did “nothing [that] was unethical” and never “made money” in China. Those claims appear demonstrably false — and they make the positions of both the media and Attorney General Merrick Garland absolutely untenable. For the media, the ongoing investigation of Hunter Biden by U.S. Attorney David Weiss in Delaware has presented a growing danger of self-indictment over its prior coverage (or noncoverage). Weiss has called a long line of witnesses before a grand jury, and there is growing expectation of criminal charges against Hunter Biden.

The Russian Army is retreating all along the northern border of Ukraine. The official Russian version for the retreat is that this is a Five Dimensional Chess move by Grandmaster Vlad, which was part of the plan all along. A more rational view is that the units that attacked on February 24 have been substantially degraded and are being pulled back across the border with Belarus and Russia to rearm and refit, and take on replacements for casualties. As Ukrainian troops advance, they are beginning to uncover evidence of war crimes committed by Russian troops against Ukrainian civilians. A town that has been particularly hard hit is Bucha,

Many of these students felt very uncomfortable with the conversations and shared this with their families.” Had Thollander just “said he will be out for a few days because he was getting married, no problem,” the letter continued
