Schools in Republican-led states are skirting laws banning critical race theory (CRT) in public education, according to new investigative footage. Released by Accuracy in Media (AIM), the videos show multiple school officials in Idaho discussing how the principles associated with the neo-Marxist ideology can be taught to students without officially being labeled as critical race theory, despite state law outlawing the teaching of ideas aligned with CRT by public educators. While speaking with Mark Jones of the Boise School District, for instance, AIM President Adam Guillette asked whether educators could teach “tenets … associated with [CRT], but under the guise of equity or something else,” to which Jones affirmed and further explained

And then there’s the 1619 Project. FTA: In addition to finding administrators skirting existing CRT laws, AIM’s investigation also found that some schools are providing access to The New York Times’ historically inaccurate “1619 Project,” which attempts to falsify American history. While unknowingly speaking with AIM, Cindy Dion, a district instructional coach for the Nampa School District, admitted that although schools can’t teach material directly from the “1619 Project” itself, they can utilize concepts associated with it through an online educational database called Newsela. Newsela is called a “Trojan horse”...

Of course you can vote on school board members and more directly talk to your kids about the subjects they are taking. Maybe talk about the history classes and the teacher. A question or two should give a pretty clear read on what is going on the then have the first of several one on one teacher conferences to make it clear how that class will be observed and how your child will be 'educated.' Oh, and record every second of interaction with anyone from the school or administration.

It's real simple. Arrest them. Fire them. Charge them with child abuse as well as under the laws forbidding indoctrination with CRT. If the union protests, decertify the union. This is war.

The arrogance and elitism demonstrated by these "educators" i8s appalling and should not be tolerated. Laws and rules made by elected or appointed officials are not to be evaded by merely changing labels. If the education establishment (including individual teachers) have/has issues with a law or regulation, it is incumbent on them to voice their opposition and enter into a professional, respectful debate on the specific rationale for their opposition. Let the substance of their position be articulated and heard, then evaluated on its merit. The people, especially parents and taxpayers, should be in charge, NOT the bureaucrats and teachers.

As for not really letting anybody tell you what to do: That's why school choice is the parent's best friend, giving them some leverage against teachers pretentious enough to teach stuff they don't want their kids to be taught. When you're in business, the customer tells you what to do, or takes their business elsewhere.

This is where the parents come in because they have first dibs on what the children learn. Attend school board meetings, ask the appropriate questions and scream until you get what you want. This is behavior that liberals understand. Name names in the media of those in teaching and administration who are perverts.

The 1967 Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID)—drafted by the Florida Legislature in cooperation with Walt Disney World and signed into law by Republican Gov. Claude Kirk—effectively created two municipal-style governments, Bay Creek and Reedy Creek, to regulate the Lake Buena Vista land where the Walt Disney World Resort operates.
