Five Key Points from Ketanji Brown
Jackson’s Tough Day in the Senate

Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson had a tough day Tuesday, as she faced the first serious questions about her record and her judicial philosophy. Judge Jackson came across during the introduction hearing on Monday as a personable, likable and accomplished attorney and jurist, with a beautiful family. On Tuesday, however, she was unable to satisfy concerns that she harbors deeply radical political views, and that she has a record of being too soft on sex offenders. There were several key points: 1. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) nailed Jackson on the “1619 Project,” Critical Race Theory, and her sentencing record.

Comments:

She's a far-left radical, and she's going to get confirmed. There's probably even a couple of RINOs who will vote in favor. But it's all about the center. Independents. This type of stuff is important.

The hearings are just theater for the rubes in flyover country. Everyone knows she's going to be confirmed by 100% of the Democrat senators and up to 6 squishy RINOs.

Well, when we point out that she actually IS an affirmative action nominee, no one can argue the point. They'll try, but Slow Joe made it very clear. His nominee had to be a black woman - those were his first two requirements. At that point, " most qualified" for the job ceased to apply.

I liked the fact that the Republicans didn't bloviate. Instead, they seem to have coordinated their questions, avoiding overlap/duplication. And I will admit that I enjoyed Crazy Mazie's questions, which were written by her staffers, and unrehearsed by Mazie. And I liked how the 'no religious test' came out, bringing attention to the dimocrats use of it.

From what I saw, she said "I don't know" or "I don't remember" so many times that even Hillary Clinton would be jealous. Did Crazy Maize ask her "did you ever have sexual harrassment or sex crimes charges against you" question (the one she asked Justice Barrett and said she asks all nominees) to this candidate? I didn't think so.

This lefty-biased candidate, who refused to answer the simple question, ''What is a woman,'' is as unmerited to serve fairly on the Supreme Court as is this Durbin-led dem pol hearing regarding her qualifications. The dems on their biased Hearing are defending her lefty bias instead of questioning her about how she could serve fairly & without bias when her own political bias prevents her simply answering, 'What is a woman.''

The toughness from the Pubs is a show. Panties in a wad Lindsey is evidence of it. They know the left will all vote for her, and they don't even have to cross over to also vote for her. The tough talk and questioning is a distraction. Vote all the lying pigs out. My preference as most of you know is to drag them.

Tom Cotton would already have earned an A+ for his digging into Joe Biden’s affirmative action nominee Ketanjio Brown Jackson and her disgusting leniency toward and support for consumers of child pornography. She is vile. As if Cotton hadn’t done enough already, now he’s going after the judge and Supreme Court hopeful for her almost-as-bad representation of suspected terrorists and detainees at Guantanamo Bay. Kudos to Cotton for having the stones to do what few GOP seem willing to anymore. Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, John Kennedy, and Marsha Blackburn have been impressive throughout the hearings as well. Here is Cotton turning Ketanji Brown Jackson into a “puddle”:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed Israeli lawmakers via Zoom in a fiery speech on Sunday, and called on Israel to help prevent a Russian “final solution.” Zelenskyy told lawmakers: “102 years after the Nazi party was established, on February 24, an order was given for a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.” “They are using the terminology of the Nazi party. This is a tragedy. When they wanted to destroy Europe and have it surrender, they didn’t want to leave any of you remaining. And now us. They called it the final solution to the Jewish question,” Zelenskyy said while also criticizing Israel for not arming Ukraine.

New York State was subject to Gov. Andrew Cuomo's reign for 10 years until he resigned last August. He was replaced by Gov. Kathy Hochul, his lieutenant governor and a fellow Democrat who has been awful in her own right. President Joe Biden reassured donors Monday that he would use his executive powers to act on climate change, even as energy prices are at record highs. “The climate crisis is the existential threat. That’s not hyperbole; it’s a fact,” Biden said after taking the podium at a Democratic National Committee Fundraiser in Washington, DC. Biden promised to take “aggressive” executive actions on climate regulations even if the Supreme Court overruled him. He acknowledged that progress on the issue of climate change was difficult to achieve in Congress, hinting that donors could help him pressure lawmakers.

China’s state-run Global Times propaganda newspaper mused on Thursday that the Chinese coronavirus may have originated in America because Americans love “vampire-themed movies,” leading them to have a “cultural” inclination to experiment with bat coronaviruses. An editorial by the Communist Party propaganda site made the assertion in a discussion on unsubstantiated accusations by the Russian government against America, accusing the United States of experimenting on “bat coronavirus” in laboratories in Ukraine. Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, but greatly expanded its war on that country on February 24 and has since seized significant blocks of territory in the country.
