A recent meeting at Minneapolis' Karmel Mall was urgent for the Somali American leaders who convened it: FBI agents had been peppering business owners and shoppers with questions surrounding a fraud investigation involving government-funded child nutrition programs, and the leaders felt the whole community was once again under siege. Anxiety filled the meeting.(Snip)"This is hitting the community really hard," said Bashir Garad Dahir, who later described the meeting. "We need crystal clear answers from the government. At some point we will come out and demand it because we're concerned about the way the FBI is conducting its investigation. It is terrorizing the community."

Comments:

The Somali Community imported by Poppy and Slick Willie is shocked, shocked at massive welfare fraud in their ranks, and demands immediate answers from the Racist American government. I know how I'd handle it.

For years, the Star Tribune has been blacking out or making excuses for the corruption in Ilhan Omar's district. It is no surprise now that they can't hide the crimes, they rush out to portray the community as victims. Expect them to pull out the Islamophobia and racist cards soon.

Sadly, at this point, it's the bad (the FBI) versus the worse (the Somalis). When you escape a country like Somalia, that is the very definition of a "3rd world cesspool", but you come to this country and refuse to assimilate -- but instead form communities that live like the 3rd world cesspool you came from -- and you refuse to follow our laws, you can't cry about being "abused" or "being under siege". Of course, with as bad as the FBI has become under the current puppet administration of Lyin' Joe bidet, I wouldn't put anything past them.

If indeed there is corruption in this situation, I would put my money on a few organizations that misused resources and then passed them on to consumers. I do not think every person or family who received the food resources engaged in corrupt practices. Typically it is only a few rotten apples that ruin things for everyone else.

Of course community leaders need crystal clear answers from the government. So do the US taxpayers who have been generously providing "the community" with free food, but with insufficient oversight. Until now. If the "whole community" feels it's being "terrorized" or is "under siege" maybe it's because the FBI already has court documents identifying "contractors" they're investigating. FDA: "Instead of feeding children, court documents allege an array of entities used the money to buy real estate, cars and other luxury items. According to FBI documents unsealed so far, many of the subcontractors under investigation are from the Somali community."

It came after Moscow slapped penalties on a string of senior officials—as well as the president's troubled son Hunter Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said they were being added to a 'stop list' in retaliation for the growing economic blockade on its economy. But White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, who also made the list, laughed them off.
