House Democrats are holding a retreat in Philadelphia today, trying to come to an agreement on how best to sell themselves to voters in the coming midterm election. NBC News reports that rather than uniting Democrats behind a common plan, the meeting seemed to emphasize their disagreements. Progressives think their best hope is to pass the Franken-BBB bill so they’ll have something to run on. Moderates think they just need to stop talking like preachy progressives.
Asked whether Democrats need to pass a Build Back Better-like bill to keep the majority, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-N.Y., the chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, or DCCC, replied: “No.”…

I have better advice: Pack now and reserve the 'Hurtz' rental truck early.

you can't sell shoes that already have a hole in the sole or a plane with only one wing because the demcommies prove the old adage ex: you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig and they have an abundance of pigs on display every day in their party

The parties have these meetings not to figure out what they are doing wrong, but rather to figure out what they are saying wrong. They change up the lies so the low info voters will go to the polls but they do nothing differently.
They are all scoundrels and thieves.

Don't sound like a jerk? How is that remotely possible given being a demonrat and all the lies they spout to gin up support for more spending?

C'mon Maloney, you know and I know and everyone who reads this knows, that it's totally impossible to sell the Democrat agenda and not sound like a Jerk.

Hate to break it to you'll, but that ship has sailed.
Ya'll declared war on Republicans, whites, Christians, tax "payers", producers and biological females in your quest to create a solar powered woke utopia. Only a liberal lowfo voter would buy your new "real people" happy talk.
The treasoncrat party has inflicted more damage on this country in one year than our combined enemies have managed in the past 70.

Some years ago our local democrat party had a raffle for a single shot shotgun, cash value at the time about $60. I laughed at the really butch old woman running it, but then changed my mind and bought a ticket. I told her the democrats had been trying to take my guns for years, and it seemed only fair that I take one of theirs.
She was not pleased and I didn't win. Big surprise.

Some quick math: a 32 year old voter today had just turned 18 when Obama first ran for office.
Campaigns of race-baiting, Big Gay propaganda, open borders, climate change hoax, Marxist economics and smears are really all that voter has known, with the notable exception of Trump 2016.
Substantive, calm, detailed discussions of issues using an 'inside voice' are almost totally alien to this voter. In far too many cases, this voter thinks that demagoguery, bad faith and inflammatory rhetoric are what ALL campaigns, candidates and elections are about.
This is not to make excuses for the voter who is responsible for educating himself, but it is an attempt to explain how and why Democrats may be unable AND unwilling to behave like adults - their own base won't recognize them.

At every event, every Democrat must introduce themselves with their preferred pronouns. Surely they can agree to that. :-) November is going to roll in a Crimson Tide like Alabama never dreamed of.

The dems will need to Build Back a Better cheating scam. A few million extra votes is not going to drag any of them back out of the toilet. A new manufactured crisis round about August-September is almost inevitable.

FTA: " Build Back Better,” Jayapal told reporters Thursday. “It’s like Voldemort. We just don’t say those words. But we continue to work on the pieces of the legislation.”"
So Jayapal is saying the Democrats are the equivalents of the Death Eaters?
And this article is about Maloney saying the Dems shouldn't sound like jerks?
