The younger Trump tweeted this back in October 2020: If Biden gets in, not only will he destroy the Oil & Gas industry (and millions of American jobs and lives), we can all say goodbye to these unbelievably good gas prices. I drive a diesel SUV, so that’s the price I follow most closely.
The nearest station that was selling diesel for $4.05 on Saturday was selling it for $4.65 on Sunday
The capacity for stupid, pointless, gestures by liberals demonstrating that they “stand up for Ukraine” or “speak truth to Putin” has gotten to the point where even my Pepto-Bismal can’t keep me from retching up my lunch.
Indeed, the “protests” are more a statement of solidarity than anything meaningful. But what makes me sick to my stomach is that the Western protesters can’t imagine they’re taking this protest against Putin beyond reason so that the ludicrous lengths to which they are going to signal their virtue might appear very odd and disturbing to ordinary people.

Tom Bevan at RealClearPolitics shared on Twitter a local horror story from the Chicago area. His fifth grader came home from school with a vocabulary assignment in science class. The words included "transgender," cisgender," "nonbinary" and "consent."
The last word carries the most irony -- because the educational elite in this country isn't interested in the consent of the governed. Resistance to LGBT indoctrination in our public grade schools is not recognized as part of a democratic, governing process. Just like the cause of critical race theory, the parents are not simply irrelevant; they are seen as an impediment to essential progress.
The other words sound ridiculous in a science class.

That comment was of course delusional – that it’s not possible to change – and for everyone to suddenly just to get electric vehicles, when so many are strapped just keeping up with Biden’s rising prices for everything, and electric vehicle are dependent on coal and fossil fuels. [Tweet]

Kathy Hochul made headlines recently by announcing the FAST NY Shovel-Ready Grant Program, which promises up to $200 million to attract high-tech industry, especially semiconductor manufacturers, to New York by developing potential sites statewide. The release cites the White Pine Commerce Park in Onondaga County, which Hochul visited this year (bringing along Sen. Chuck Schumer and US Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves) to tout efforts to lure a chip-maker there with huge amounts of state and federal money.
But Hochul doesn’t mention that the White Pine site she wants to offer up to the semiconductor manufacturer is far from “shovel-ready” — in fact, it’s already taken.

The University of Michigan’s diversity, equity, and inclusion lead accidentally sent an email to students “committing” to advancing anti-Semitism, according to email correspondence reviewed by the Daily Caller.
In an email to students, Vice Provost for Equity and Inclusion Robert Sellers listed goals for the university’s culture to strive towards in light of the university achieving phase one of its five-year DEI strategic plan. Accidentally included in that list was the word “anti-Semitism.”
On Wednesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida met with Disney CEO Bob Chapek over the phone after the latter requested a meeting to discuss the Parental Rights in Education bill that recently passed the Florida legislature. The media and the left at large have been hyperventilating over it because it dares to stop teachers from discussing “gender ideology” and sexuality with small children.
Perhaps Disney, given its massive investment in the state, believed it could bend DeSantis to its will on the bill and get him to veto the legislation? Whatever the goal was, it didn’t go as planned for the mega-corporation. DeSantis refused to change his position,
