Supreme Court rejects GOP redistricting
pleas in 2 states

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court has turned away efforts from Republicans in North Carolina and Pennsylvania to block state court-ordered congressional districting plans more favorable to Democrats. In separate orders late Monday, the justices are allowing maps selected by each state’s Supreme Court to be in effect for the 2022 elections. In North Carolina, the map most likely will give Democrats an additional House seat in 2023. The Pennsylvania map also probably will lead to the election of more Democrats, the Republicans said, as the two parties battle for control of the House of Representatives in the midterm elections.

It doesn't matter what the numbers of elected officials are. The demonrats always control everything - - while the Pubbies remain under cover in the deep weeds. The Evil Party is constantly at war - - while the Clueless Party has no idea what's going on.

Why are the courts deciding the boundaries for congressional districts? This is, by law, supposed to be determined by the legislature in the respective states.

Have you ever heard of a Democrat redistricting plan being turned away? No, you haven't. It is going to do the Republicans no good to benefit from any states they have won, or population favorability, as Elias and Obama are winning more Democrat seats with their lawsuits, and drawing the district lines in all the states. Have the Republican's ever won a suit at the SC? I can't remember one in my lifetime. But then, the Republicans don't have lawyers or judges.

Whenever a leftist celebrity makes an idiotic statement, I wonder whether it’s just stupidity on their part or underlying evil machinations. I suspect it’s a combination of both. Certainly, these rich, spoiled ignoramuses have no clue as to how the world really works. Rising prices make nary a dent in their bottom line, so what do they know about economic hardship? However, there is most certainly an element of shadow forces dictating their thinking – and useful idiot pawns like late night hosts are the perfect vehicle for indoctrinating the masses. Poland announced on Tuesday it was ready to hand all its MiG-29 fighter jets to the US, apparently as part of an arrangement to deliver the warplanes to Ukraine's armed forces where they are desperately needed to fight off invading Russian forces. The idea has been floating around for more than a week after Ukraine pleaded for more aircraft but the plan has been dogged by questions about how to deliver the planes to Ukrainian territory without dragging NATO into the conflict. Tuesday's announcement will be seen as a Polish effort to force the US and NATO to go further in backing the Ukrainian fight, but there are still mounting concerns

When will we ever learn not to fret over what’s going on in the world? Our Democrat party overlords know what’s best for us, and all we have to do is simply follow their suggestions. After all, their solutions are so simple. Take high gas prices for example. So many of us peons worry about the skyrocketing price of gas at the pump, but America’s brilliant Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg has a fix for gas prices that’s so easy it’s almost ridiculous. Why, you just need to buy an electric vehicle, you silly goose. “Clean transportation can bring significant cost savings for the American people as well,” Buttigieg said

The White House on Sunday rejected the argument that increasing domestic oil production would help lower gas prices, as the cost of oil moves toward record highs. Crude oil prices rose as high as $130.50 a barrel on Sunday evening. White House press secretary Jen Psaki released a set of talking points on social media, arguing against a focus on boosting oil production in the United States. “It’s a reminder that real energy security comes from reducing our dependence on fossil fuels,” Psaki wrote, noting that Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine was causing a spike in oil prices. Psaki pushed back against Republicans calling for more domestic oil production.

Within MAGA circles, talk is turning increasingly to impeaching Joe Biden after the midterm elections—assuming, of course, the Republicans retake the House of Representatives (which appears likely). Unfortunately, actual removal would require 60 votes in the Senate. Even under the most favorable scenario, it’s unlikely the GOP will pick up more than four Senate seats.  Nonetheless, with the strong likelihood the Republicans will take control of the House, impeaching Biden looks viable. Why? Well, for the same reason a Democrat-controlled House impeached Donald Trump—twice.  The Democrats used the impeachment process to persuade millions of middle-of-the-road and independent voters that Trump had done something terribly wrong. Of course, the Democrats’ two impeachment efforts were frivolous
