For more than a decade, American presidents stood by while Russian strongman Vladimir Putin had his way with Ukraine.
Indeed, going back to the fall of the Soviet Union when Bill Clinton supported the nuclear disarmament of Ukraine, U.S. presidents have had a particular blind spot when it comes to Ukraine. An independent nation on the border of a country that has always seen that nation as one of its possessions could have used an independent nuclear deterrent.
But Clinton and then George W. Bush were too busy creating a post-cold war architecture of peace to be concerned about Ukraine. And that’s where Vladimir Putin entered the picture.
That “architecture” included solemn guarantees

Answer to author's question - Because Obama be a black racist, American hating, greedy, democrat communist. He is in the elite class system currently in place in our country and therefore will never be made answerable or pay for his crimes. What is wrong with these so-called conservative writers like Moran where they either are too corrupt themselves or too afraid to write the truth.

Best to go back to 1991 when the breakaway occurred...GHWBush immediately spoke up and clearly stated that Ukraine breaking away, with 30% of Russians Nukes, several fully stocked/functioning Air/Army bases and the ENTIRE Black Sea fleet in it's possession was NOT something that Russia was going to sit still for, nor should they, Negotiations MUST be held and accommodations made. Not the least of worries being that "New" Ukraine was not even able to safely maintain/protect that tech.(Ukraine ended up with half of the Black sea fleet, and Russia had a 20year lease on it's Port Facilities though they gradually traded away most of their share in exchange for debt forgiveness, discounted oil/gas, and various loans)
Crimea had not "Historically" ever been part of Ukraine, it was a Tartar land, , part of the Ottoman Turk Empire...depopulated by Stalin in 1944 and all inhabitants sent to Siberia, repopulated with Russians, not only supporting the Navy's main base, but also Oligarchs Dachas and proletariat resorts, what "Ukrainians" allowed to go there were construction/service workers. For Ukraine's "anniv" Khrushchev made a dramatic "Gift" of Crimea to Ukraine in 1954, still a 100% Vassal State of the USSR...mainly to further the Ruse that it was a separate "independent State"(and to soothe some ruffled feathers for atrocities committed in western Ukraine provinces)...and deserved a separate UN Seat.
This overview adds some clarity to the complexity. https://www.wilsoncenter.org/publication/why-did-russia-give-away-crimea-sixty-years-ago
There were agreements in multiple bodies, treaties, International/UN/and between Ukraine/Russia pertaining to Ethnic Russians rights in those areas where Russians were not only the majority of the population, but had created the majority of infrastructure, businesses and industry. Clinton/Kerry/Obama/Biden often ignored those and supported abrogation of agreements..as if they could simply press a "Reset" button from afar, install puppets and siphon off cash.

Obama constantly states he had a “scandal” free administration. The illusion created by the lying mainstream media. If we had an honest media, we would never have heard the names Clinton, Obama, J Jackson, Sharpton, Pelosi, Schumer, etc. President Trump has called them out and until we find a way to make them honest, we will have criminal types ruling Americans.

Biden's WH & other agencies are holdovers from the O WH. Does anyone wonder how he can afford 4 Big $$$$$ homes...book sales are Not that Great! The only President in history who never left DC??? Now you know why history is not taught. Moran's making stuff up. #8 is correct, you must go back to the fall of the Berlin Wall and breakup of the USSR. Go research the Budapest Agreement of 1991, when George HW Bush was President (no scummy Bill Clinton until 1993 or Vlad the Invader until 1999).
"The Budapest Agreement required Ukraine to eliminate the strategic missiles, missile silos, and bombers on its territory and transfer the 1,900 nuclear warheads to Russia for disassembly. Ukraine was the third-largest nuclear power in the world. They had more nuclear weapons than China. In return, Ukrainians gained guarantees that the United States and Russia, joined by Britain, would provide security assurances. The Budapest Agreement committed Washington, Moscow, and London, among other things, to “respect the independence and sovereignty and existing borders of Ukraine” and to “refrain from the threat or use of force” against that country." (Martin Armstrong)
And as for "But Clinton and then George W. Bush were too busy creating a post-cold war architecture of peace to be concerned about Ukraine." What complete and utter excrement. More like how many countries can we destroy to demonstrate our world power?
Can't answer on what Moran came up with on BO. I don't like reading fiction masquerading as fact.

sitting presidents cannot be sued or hauled into the criminal courts by the public; however, that should not preclude crooks or turnips.
