Ukraine War Fever Could Kill GOP Midterm Chances

Original Article

How does any rational or caring human being watch us lose a 20-year war against cave-dwelling barbarians, and not just lose that war, but lose it in the most humiliating fashion imaginable, and less than a year later already have a war-boner for Ukraine? I’m convinced the unholy alliance between Neocons, the corporate media, and the Democrat party is the Seventh Seal. For a moment, let’s forget about the fact that America is incapable of liberating anyone; let’s ignore that our definition of “liberating” is to spend $4 trillion killing hundreds of thousands of innocents and then abandoning them to the enemy.

Comments:

The Republicans don't particularly care about having the majority, as shown by what they do each time they have it. What matters is that they staunchly maintain the leftist status quo, and keep shoveling our tax dollars into the pockets of the defense contractors and other important constituents. And if a bunch of Americans wind up dead as a result of yet another treasury-draining war that has nothing to to with us, well, that just makes way for more imported foreigners to go on welfare, which benefits Walmart, apartment landlords, and many other important constituents.

The Democrats and their supporters only believe what their media circles report. They are appealing to the religious core of America by making this a war between evil Russia and Ukraine Christians. Our minister brought this up as a prayer item in this mornings service. Watch for Pence to jump on this and the media to suddenly support the poor Christians in Ukraine. Of course they didn’t care at all when ISIS was killing Christians during Obama’s terms.

The White House on Sunday rejected the argument that increasing domestic oil production would help lower gas prices, as the cost of oil moves toward record highs. Crude oil prices rose as high as $130.50 a barrel on Sunday evening. White House press secretary Jen Psaki released a set of talking points on social media, arguing against a focus on boosting oil production in the United States. “It’s a reminder that real energy security comes from reducing our dependence on fossil fuels,” Psaki wrote, noting that Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine was causing a spike in oil prices.
