It’s not often that we bestow the honor of the week’s top knucklehead on someone outside of the U.S., and that trend is understandable. There’s so much buffoonery that takes place here, there’s seldom a need to look outside of our own borders. But this week was the exception, with Canada’s Prime Minister – that prettiest of all political pretty boys – Justin Trudeau outdoing all his American knucklehead competition. The way in which Trudeau has thoroughly mishandled the Freedom Convoy protests has been remarkable to watch.

Two journalists working for the United Nations have been detained in Kabul, the global agency said in a tweet Friday — with reports of at least eight other Westerners also detained in the war-torn nation.
“Two journalists with UNHCR and Afghan nationals working with them have been detained in Kabul. We are doing our utmost to resolve the situation, in coordination with others,” the UNHCR said in a tweet.

Prince Andrew has reached a legal agreement that include(s) an undisclosed settle(ment) with a woman who has accused him in court of sexually abusing her as a teen, according to news reports Tuesday. The settlement with plaintiff Virginia Giuffre will reportedly lead to a dismissal in the case being brought in Manhattan federal court.
Giuffre and Andrew will file a stipulation to dismiss the case inside of the next month, according to court papers filed on Tuesday.
An unsigned letter included in the settlement filing acknowledged Giuffre has suffered for years as a result of being trafficked by the late Jeffrey Epstein, with whom Andrew consorted for years.
