The US State Department is warning Americans not to travel to Russia and warning those who are already in Russia to leave “immediately” lest they face harassment by Russian security forces. [emphasis in original] Do not travel to Russia due to the unprovoked and unjustified attack by Russian military forces in Ukraine, the potential for harassment against U.S. citizens by Russian government security officials, the Embassy’s limited ability to assist U.S. citizens in Russia, COVID-19 and related entry restrictions, terrorism, limited flights into and out of Russia, and the arbitrary enforcement of local law. U.S. citizens should depart Russia immediately. U.S. citizens residing or traveling in Russia should depart immediately.

If this all happened under President Trump. Can you imagine? This senile old fool is bout to get US in a war with freakin Russia over a country that helped transfer American tax money into his pockets, not something of American government interest. Impeachment is not good enough; this usurper needs to be dragged now.

When Russians see their countrymen killed by US supplied Javelin and Stinger missiles replayed endlessly on YouTube, they are going to extremely hostile. No doubt our ambassador was warned by the Russian ambassador of an upcoming government anti-American media campaign along with paid agitators to whip up public emotion.

Confirmed: Rumors of a Joe Biden ‘Comeback’

We reported Friday on how CNN’s Chris “reporters don’t pick sides” Cillizza was salivating over a post-State of the Union address poll from NPR/PBS/Marist that showed President Biden with an eight point jump (to 47%) in comparison to a prior poll taken by the same outfit a few weeks prior. “The possibility of a Joe Biden comeback now exists,” Cillizza enthusiastically tweeted, setting tongues wagging on the left about the prospect of it happening considering Biden’s numbers also rose in the same poll on his handling of the Ukraine/Russia conflict and his management of the coronavirus pandemic. As Bonchie wrote in his piece at the time, the likelihood

Within MAGA circles, talk is turning increasingly to impeaching Joe Biden after the midterm elections—assuming, of course, the Republicans retake the House of Representatives (which appears likely). Unfortunately, actual removal would require 60 votes in the Senate. Even under the most favorable scenario, it’s unlikely the GOP will pick up more than four Senate seats.  Nonetheless, with the strong likelihood the Republicans will take control of the House, impeaching Biden looks viable. Why? Well, for the same reason a Democrat-controlled House impeached Donald Trump—twice.  The Democrats used the impeachment process to persuade millions of middle-of-the-road and independent voters that Trump had done something terribly wrong. Of course, the Democrats’ two impeachment efforts were frivolous

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Monday condemned Florida surgeon general Joseph Ladapo’s recommendation against healthy children receiving the Covid-19 vaccine. When a reporter asked Psaki whether the Biden administration agreed with that advisory, she replied: “Absolutely not. … We know the science, we know the data and what works and what the most effective steps are in protecting people of a range of ages from hospitalization and even death.” She affirmed that the FDA and CDC have confirmed the vaccine’s safety and efficacy for children. While it’s unclear what exact age range Ladapo’s guidance would target, studies have consistently found that Covid infection poses an infinitesimal risk

A judge has ruled one of the main organizers of the so-called Freedom Convoy can be released from jail, on the condition she leave Ottawa, reversing a decision made last month. Tamara Lich, 49, was behind a now-halted GoFundMe campaign that raised more than $10 million to support the protest in Ottawa, which became a weeks-long occupation. She was arrested Feb. 17 and charged with counselling to commit mischief shortly before the major push by police to clear out the remaining protesters who occupied downtown Ottawa streets. Lich remained in custody and was denied bail on Feb. 22, but then appealed, leading to a March 2 bail review hearing.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki released a set of talking points on social media, arguing against a focus on boosting oil production in the United States. “It’s a reminder that real energy security comes from reducing our dependence on fossil fuels,” Psaki wrote, noting that Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine was causing a spike in oil prices. Psaki pushed back against Republicans calling for more domestic oil production.
