Earlier this week, U.S. Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger released a statement in response to a complaint from Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas), who says the USCP illegally entered his office, took photos, and later interrogated his staff. According to Manger, “The weekend before Thanksgiving, one of our vigilant officers spotted the Congressman’s door was wide open.” As such, Manger said it is the responsibility of the USCP to document the incident and secure the office.
There’s just one problem with this explanation: (snip) This is the exact door @CapitolPolice claims their officer found “wide open” on that Saturday.
The door automatically closes. See for yourself.
How could this door be found wide open?

It's just Piglousi doing a little spying using the Capitol Police as her conduit so she wouldn't' be caught. Deniability you know.

The Capitol Police, it appears, is a corrupt organization. I cannot understand how democrats believe they can get away with such blatant lies. Did they not think that a video showing the impossibility of this door being left open would not surface or are they so confident that they believe anything they say will go unquestioned? Democrats have been emboldened by a corrupt media who will cover for their lies and a weak and ineffective opposition party that seemingly is incapable of confrontation. Their lawless behavior will continue unabated until we demand better. Democrats will never back down. They are always on the offensive and Republicans are perpetually cowardly in the face of this party. It is disgusting to me how quickly Republicans run and hide. They have no fight in them and that is a big reason we are living in this ungodly nightmare.

Pelosi's Geheime Staatspolizei at work. They are doing as they are told. They are just following orders. Remember that when the MAGA Nuremburg trials begin.

The real story would be if the Capitol Police didn't lie! Nothing but SCUM in their employ! What else would work for Nancy the drunk!

Your turn, Capitol Police. You better have an explanation, or you should be fired, jailed, and fined for this.

Clearly our congress operates like the mafia.
I hope every one of the white hats in congress have motion activated cameras in their office.
I think it is time to shut down the Capitol building. Force senators and representative to meet in the middle of nowhere in the very middle of the country. Just move off and leave all the lobbyists behind and let D.C. collapse under the weight of its corruption. It can be a tourist destination for history buffs. And the white house should remain ....far far away from congress.

Even if there is irrefutable evidence of CP transgressions, who has the authority, will and power to do anything about it?

When you consider the fact that a member of the Capitol Police shot and killed an unarmed woman on Jan 6 and no action was taken him, it is entirely plausible that they are lying. That they later interrogated his staff doesn't pass the smell test.

Don't think I went to the dark side but that's a lousy job of proving the door "shut" itself. After it appeared to shut itself no attempt to demonstrate that it latched was made, rather the door knob was grabbed so that we have no way to know if a claim it was left "open" is based on a slight degree of "open." I do believe most of us have been to a hotel and checked to see that the door completely shuts and latches behind us and discover indeed it had not.
When the left shows things and is sloppy in doing so my BS alarm goes off.

#12 - I do believe Ms. Nancy has the authority. She is in charge of the Capitol Police. She has the power to do something about any of these "transgressions". Whether she has the will to do so; I don't think so. Truthfully, I do not understand why she won't do the right thing. She has the videos for all that happened on January 6 and the evidence of the door closing right in front of her nose, yet she acts as if she has no responsibility for the behavior of those under her.
Someone should have the courage to ask Nancy why she does not want justice to be served for those harmed on January 6 and any other misbehavior for which the Capitol Police are responsible.

# 15 - Please note that the letter written in defense by the Capitol Hill Police Chief alleged that: "“The weekend before Thanksgiving, one of our vigilant officers spotted the Congressman’s door was wide open." In my humble opinion, "wide open" is unambiguous and rules out your hypothesis.

#19, the Deep State can unlock doors in a manner you wouldn't think could happen. They are a bunch of hackers. The Deep State more than likely unlocked the door and left it "wide open."

Why would the Capitol police do this illegal act against the 3rd Branch of the Constitution? We believe it's a WARNING to any Congressman/woman that would question Queen Pelosi about J6. Nasty Nancy is flexing her power! Congressman Nehls is one of those going after Pelosi about her involvement and what she did on J6. Pelosi is from the East Coast originally and learned from her father the Mafia's ways.

I am moving quickly into "I don't care" territory. My outrage, disgust and revulsion for our "elected officials" are meaningless. Its government of the government, by the government and for the government. In the eyes of our elite, the people of this territory formerly known as the "United States" are peasants, serfs and slaves. One could say we "have no standing". We certainly have no leaders in the GOP to defend us when they won't even defend one of their own congressmen. These are the same cheats and charlatans that will gain control with the Red Wave in November and promptly "cross the aisle" to promote "consensus" and "bipartisanship".
I'm beginning to believe that our only hope is a well-placed asteroid. Perhaps it could be shaped like President Trump's famous profile.

Although I suppose someone on Nehlls' staff could have propped it open, either for some mundane reason, or as a little favor to Nanzi.

The Capitol Police are responsible for the murder of Ashli Babbitt and probably Rosanne Boyland on January 6, 2020. You think they give a rat's you know what about being accused of wrongly and possibly illegally accessing Nehl's office and interrogating his staff? Both officers received medals for what many believe are criminal actions. I believe one was feted at a football game or something like that. Disgusting.
I love law enforcement so it pains me to see officers engaging in actions such as the murders of these two women and the abuse in Canada of that 78 year old senior at the hands of the police because he honked his car horn in solidarity with the Canadian truckers.
It is just staggering and sickening how quickly our beloved Republic has descended into a totalitarian state. And there is nothing on the horizon to stop it or slow it down. And poster #2 as always, hits the nail on the head. Republicans are useless and our country's descent into fascism is being facilitated every single day by their lack of courage, and corruption. I have little faith that if Republicans somehow manage to take back the House and Senate, things will change in a big way.

A door with an automatic closer was wide open? Right. An automatic door with an automatic closer and a sign that reads "Staff Only" (or something similar) was wide open? Right. The police report gives no mention of the door being propped open.
All of this obviously this required entry by Pelosi's henchmen. I mean, something nefarious could have been afoot. And indeed it was -- by Pelosi's henchmen.
I just don't trust the government.

So, the "vigilant officer" took pictures of everything inside the office, but found nothing odd about an automatic door being left "wide open." Shouldn't there be pictures documenting that something was holding the door open? Then again, if it was just a defective mechanism in the door itself, where's the repair order the officer would have turned in to get the door fixed ASAP?
