Abortions in Texas fell by approximately 60 percent during the first month following the implementation of the state’s new law which bans most procedures once a fetal heartbeat can be detected. Texas Health and Human Services officials report abortions in August numbered approximately 5,400. One month later, after the new Texas abortion law went into effect, that number fell to under 2,200, the Associated Press reported.

So in about 12-15 years a new larger army of fatherless welfare thugs should keep taxes high and the cops busy.

There are other ways for a woman to abort a baby. If a woman is determined not to give birth, she won't. All these laws do is make it more dangerous for the woman.

One of the many reasons I dislike abortion is because it is such a hopeless solution. It sees only the worst in life, and no possibility of anything or anyone ever changing. Reference posts #4 & 7. We’re always scolded that it’s better that 1,000 criminals go free than let one innocent person receive the death penalty. It’s a shame that line of thinking can’t be applied to abortion eliminating all those pesky, welfare thugs, but could also eliminate the next Einstein, Rembrandt or Ghandi.

7,600 women slaughtered their unborn babies in the womb in just 2 months!!! That is so evil, and makes me sick to my stomach to think of it!!! 7,600 babies killed in what should be the safest place on earth -- their mother's wombs!!! I am a woman who was blessed to have 4 children. The thought of killing a baby growing in my womb is unimaginable. How can any woman be so heartless and evil?!?!?!?!? Maybe it's time for God to just end this madness of humanity, because human beings are just getting more and more evil by the day.

Democrat Katie Hobbs, Arizona secretary of state and gubernatorial candidate, was quick to amplify claims that “dangerous misinformation” from her Republican opponent Kari Lake was connected to a break-in at her office this week. Police have now reportedly arrested a suspect and confirmed the break-in had no political motivation, so Hobbs did what any self-respecting Democrat political candidate would do — she refused to discuss the new development or her former accusations. “AFTER accusing my team of coordinating a Watergate-style break-in of her office, Katie Hobbs has now flip-flopped and DOES NOT want to talk about the crime,” Kari Lake tweeted Thursday.

Dr. Mehmet Oz has overtaken his Democratic rival, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, in the Pennsylvania Senate race following the Democrat's much-critiqued performance in the race's sole debate earlier this week. In the latest InsiderAdvantage poll, Oz led Fetterman by 2.7% among likely voters with 47.5% support to 44.8%. That lead is just inside the survey's +/- 3.6% margin of error, making the race a statistical tie. Conducted Oct. 26 among 750 likely voters, the survey is the first to show Oz leading in the race and the first to feature a survey period exclusively following the debate.

Let’s get right to the point: Where are all the splashy full-page ad campaigns from purported Christian “leaders” condemning the moral degeneracy of this Biden administration? Or does being a “prophetic witness” to the “political class” only gain renewed interest in elite evangelical sectors when the person occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has an “R” next to his name? For context, let’s rewind back to 2017. Shortly after Donald Trump assumed office, he issued an executive order that suspended travel into the United States from seven countries and paused most refugee resettlements for 120 days.

One of the core strengths of the late, great, sorely missed, Rush Limbaugh was his ability and willingness to constantly reground his listeners concerning basic truths. We tend to forget basics in the heat of political battle, usually to the detriment of conservative causes and candidates. An excellent current example of this has to do with polling. I cannot believe how many conservative pundits, radio/podcast hosts and writers react to polls early in the season with dismay or even panic. “Beto is within three points of Abbot!” “Fetterman up seven over Oz? How can that be?” The answer is: you’re right, it can't be. It isn't true.

A top election official in Pennsylvania says the state will disregard the U.S. Supreme Court's guidance on counting mail-in ballots arriving in envelopes with typos or incorrect dates, saying that the state's Commonwealth Court has already established the practice as licit. Pennsylvania's election laws have historically required voters to include a signature and date on the outside of return envelopes when voting by mail. However, acting Secretary of State Leigh Chapman announced that Pennsylvania election officials should continue counting ballots that arrive with improperly filled-out envelopes, in accordance with the Commonwealth Court's previous ruling on the matter.

A court filing in connection with the suit alleges that Chan and Dehmlow were "involved in the communications between the FBI and Meta that led to Facebook's suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story."

At newspapers, obituaries are typically written in advance. The Washington Post had plenty to work with when the death of Lucianne Goldberg happened, but instead of remembering good, or at least balancing their summary, they selectively chose to remember the great muse of the right, Internet pioneer, and accomplished woman from a time when women weren't allowed much accomplishment, by printing only cherry-picked tales of dubious sourcing that made her look phony. It was garbage. It stood in stark contrast to the insightful and warm-hearted tweets that overwhelmingly were the consensus on Twitter, from wildly different parts of the Internet spectrum.
