After months of uninterrupted growth in state power, what we are now witnessing in the disputes rocking the Australian Open, Spotify, Marvel and the trucking world are spontaneous meeting engagements in the culture wars. It’s like a chain reaction of angry people setting off other angry people. The singular thing about this development is that it would have been impossible six months ago. A psychological barrier has been breached and a taboo has fallen. The potential of this to create a cascade is considerable. Most people psychologically want to get along, especially nonpoliticals, unless

I'm surprised the article didn't mention "cold anger". It has been building in the United States for a long time. It won't surprise me when it erupts as cold rage or cold fury.

Real cultural change follows some of the same laws of physics as ice and water. Water doesn't change slowly to ice; it maintains its liquid properties until it reaches a critical temperature and then undergoes a phase change that rapidly forms crystals. America has been slowly changing from a period of limited government with impartial justice to a period of central control with biased justice since the 1950's. The election of Donald Trump was the catalyst that triggered the establishment to complete this transition on a global basis in coordination with nations like China. They saw the pandemic as the perfect pretense to finish the job. What they didn't expect was the populist phase transition that is now in process that will collapse their plan. Bannon calls it the "Fourth Turning" in history. It is not inevitable and may yet be crushed by the powerful elite, but cracks are appearing in their leadership. Just today George Soros posted a public message condemning Xi Jinping as a fraud and a threat to the world order. This is like Spectre 1 condemning Spectre 2. "Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come" - Victor Hugo.

Excellent points from Mr. Fernandez. It is especially noteworthy that soy boy Justin is so terrified of these protests that he ran away to hide. THAT means a great deal. These pukes-in-charge are absolutely terrified that they will wind up like King Lois XVI of France, dragged out and beheaded by the guillotine. They KNOW that they have been intentionally killing tens of thousands of us, and that hundreds of thousands more have fallen ill from their shots, and they know what the long term plan is, we can only guess at this point. Likely, it is for many millions to die prematurely from the long term effects of these shots. They fear us figuring out their evil and coming to get them, coming to 'thank' them. Louis XVI had what was, I'm sure, at the time, "the finest King's guards ever assembled"......and it did no good when the people finally decided that it was time to rid themselves of this person. These vicious dictators always have "excellent protective details". It is never enough. The French "situation" is a cautionary tale. And those French revolutionaries were armed with mostly agricultural tools, a few single shot muskets, perhaps, and some swords. This generation is armed with much better tools, even as they try to disarm us, especially in Canada. IF - and it still a huge IF, ---- IF this goes really sideways, putting this 'genie back into the bottle' will not be a simple task.

For months...years....the "Grown ups" have been telling the former petulant tweeners in current elected positions... "Don't make me come down there...Don't make me stop this car!" Walp...apparently they all had parents that didn't mean it when they said it. and are SHOCKED to find that decent parents do not play that game. Let the spanking begin. Make it a memorable one, to stave off the need for a "Next One"

Shares of Facebook parent Meta were hammered Thursday, falling 26% after the company revealed that privacy changes Apple made to its iOS platform last year have begun to sink their teeth into the social networking giant's bottom line. During its Q4 earnings report released Wednesday, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg explained that Apple's App Tracking Transparency feature, or ATT, will cut $10 billion out of Meta's earnings in 2022. Apps like Snap and Pinterest, however, appear to be fairing better in handling the change. With Snap saying that its advertising partners are adapting well to the new system. So what exactly is ATT, and how can it have such an outsized impact

BENSALEM, Pa. - More than 40 people may have been involved in a brawl at a Golden Corral in Pennsylvania, police say. The fight allegedly broke out after a customer became enraged when the buffet ran out of steak. Investigators are trying to figure out who started the fight that broke out Friday night at a Golden Corral in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Video of the incident shows punches being thrown and high chairs flying. Police confirm the brawl may have involved more than 40 people and happened following an argument among some customers. They did not say what caused the argument, as that is still under investigation. But former employee Dylan Becker  CORRECTIONS*

Their home page has a flashing banner of “reproductive rights” front and center, which can be assumed to mean abortion on demand, anytime from conception to birth and perhaps even beyond birth, a decision made solely by the mother, without any restriction by law, government, morality, or the aspirations of the soon to be destroyed little girl who might someday want to join

Like other cities run by Democrats, Los Angeles is going through an epidemic of violent crime. Its Soros-funded DA George Gascón has a lot of blood on his hands for increasing the mayhem. When he was sworn in, he said his office would not prosecute a host of misdemeanor crimes, or seek the death penalty for even the most heinous murders. No surprise that, as Broken Windows policing confirmed nearly two decades ago, tolerating “non-violent” crimes has increased violent ones. “The data,” as City Journal’s Soledad Ursúa, reports on LA, “show staggering surges of homicides, gun violence, and sexual assaults, and one can see with one’s own eyes the open-air

This week the Democratic National Committee gave Justice Steven Breyer the hook, announcing that he was retiring before he’d firmly decided to do so. When he finally responded, he made clear his intention to remain on the bench until Biden’s nominee was confirmed, which at best likely will be sometime this summer if ever. As part of a deal he made with congressman and House majority whip Jim Clyburn when he was on the ropes in the primaries, President Biden promised to nominate to this significant position a black woman, and three candidates’ names -- a weak bench if the suppositions are correct -- have been

When Corey Johnson was 17, he murdered a 13-year-old boy, Jovanni Sierra Brand, and stabbed two other people because they “idolized celebrities and disrespected his Muslim faith.” Johnson is now 21. On Thursday, he got a life sentence for the murder, but no one seems to be pondering the larger implications of the case. The UK’s Daily Mail reported Thursday that “Palm Beach County Judge Cheryl Caracuzzo sentenced Johnson to life in prison and said on Thursday she did not believe rehabilitation was likely for Johnson after he remained emotionless during the heartfelt testimony of Jovanni’s mother.” When he was in court Thursday, Johnson did make an attempt to show remorse:

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said during a Friday briefing that the agency is working to "pivot" its language regarding what it means to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Responding to a question about why the CDC is not changing the definition of the phrase to include a booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, the health leader told reporters that it is working to "pivot the language to make sure that everybody is as up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines as they personally could be, should be, based on when they got their last vaccine." Two and a half years ago, the Tampa Bay Rays devised one of the most innovative, controversial, and frankly, laughable proposals in recent sports history. During the 2019 season, the Rays came to Major League Baseball with an idea to one day split their home games between Tampa Bay and Montreal, with intentions of building open-air stadiums in both cities. That idea was officially killed this week. Commissioner Rob Manfred informed the Rays on Tuesday that the league’s executive council put the kibosh on their idea. “We put everything we had into this effort because we truly believed in it,” team president Rob Auld told the Tampa Bay Times.

The Biden Administrations’ failures are so numerous and egregious, as Jim Geraghty catalogues, that court-scribes like the New York Times, Washington Post, and CNN are turning on him. Even DNC heartthrob Stacey Abrams, chronic denier of election results, snubbed Biden when he came to Georgia. The media’s new-found willingness to fulfill their self-proclaimed sacred charge to “afflict the comfortable” and “speak truth to power,” however, is driven not by a recovered fidelity to fact, evidence-based argument, and objectivity, but by Biden’s record-setting disapproval numbers, especially the declines among Latinos, independents, and young people––constituencies critical for the Democrats’ longed-for “permanent majority.”

Generally speaking, I am not a fan of polls. For one, I’ve never been polled by anyone. For another, the number of people being polled often strikes me as too small a sample from which to draw broad conclusions. Also, those samples more often than not tend to oversample one group, Democrats, let’s say, over another group, which again leads to questions of accuracy. Bottom line, I don’t trust ‘em and tend to ignore them in preference to the only poll that actually counts, the election itself. I’ve often asked myself, what would I do if I were to be contacted to participate in a poll.
