The National Organization of Women is one of the leading “women’s rights” organizations with a stated goal, “Dedicated to its multi-issue and multi-strategy approach to women’s rights and is the largest organization of feminist grassroots activists in the United States.” What are those rights? Their home page has a flashing banner of “reproductive rights” front and center, which can be assumed to mean abortion on demand, anytime from conception to birth and perhaps even beyond birth, a decision made solely by the mother, without any restriction by law, government, morality, or the aspirations of the soon to be destroyed little girl who might someday want to join

The doctor is wrong on one particular: the "Q" stands for queer, not questioning. But this essay is depressingly true. All the authorities (so to speak) who allow this travesty to take place should be gone from sports, from newspaper editorial boards, and from politics. This is crazy, and should be identified as such.

Someday society will meet the standard of "equality" these wonderful feminist women have been struggling to establish for years. Why the huff-and-puff from anyone? They are throwing your world into a blender and creating a smoothie of wonderful people, without bias or hate. In their world we will live in perfect harmony, live forever (until we become too expensive), and enjoy our existance. If anyone is serious about putting an end to this, it's open competition. If women can compete with men in their leagues, the ladies must reciprocate. Let some PGA rabbits play the LPGA circuit, for example. Sport is about performance, and unless one is willing to accept the "equality" standards used to qualify women as police, firefighters, and special forces operatives, the world is trending to "equality". Ask Megan Rapinoe why she should not be on the US National Team...not the ladies division...the OPEN division. If Augusta Mational must admit women and the Masters must be open to them, why isn't the converse applicable.

I have no doubt that the original feminist movement was an honest attempt to advance the equality of women. But as it grew and succeeded it was hijacked by communists and melded with the black movement to seed division amongst the populace. The loudest and most devisive voices of the dim party are minorities and women - especially minority women

An erroneous assumption has been made by some (men?) posting replies on other threads that women - including these young athletes - are all “feminists" who, as a a bloc, believe transgenderism is ok. Thus the female athletes are to blame for something they have wrought. Nothing could be further from the truth on all counts. That a woman is proud to be a woman should not tag her as being a “feminist” and the young female athletes have nothing to do with guys like whatshisname “Lia” Thomas deciding to bundle up his genitalia and declare himself a female swimmer. He could have surgery by Lorena Bobbitt and he’d still be male. The universities who permit travesties like Lia Thomas to compete are at fault.

From the good doctor: Testosterone levels are a red herring, as even the IOC acknowledged. They correctly note, “A number of scientific papers have recently shown people who have undergone male puberty retain significant advantages in power and strength even after taking medication to suppress their testosterone levels.” Puberty is when boys differentiate from girls through muscle mass, strength, and power. Once the engine is built, adult testosterone levels matter little. Ferrari and Toyota engines are differentiated once they come off the assembly line. Trying to equalize them based on the fuel grade powering these engines will make little difference, just as testosterone levels matter little once the human athletic engine is built during puberty.

One of us wrote: "Let some PGA rabbits play the LPGA circuit, for example." I understand the necessity of the function of being the contrarian in certain situations and instances, but what #5 continually calls on this issue for is the end of woman's athletics, which is not honorable in the least, even in the strictest lower-lip-protruding libertarian sense. Don't bring me into this. As a professional golfer, I know about some athletic things #5 only fantasizes about, or could never imagine. I also have enjoyed women's athletic competition since I was young. Men or fake men who compete against women in strength or speed events are beneath contempt at below a cockroach level. Let's not encourage anarchy on account of some people who are either cheaters, or are scorchinly mentally ill. Paying attention to them only brings us all down. It's time to stop this.

If this is what it takes to expose the hypocrisy of the feminist movement, I am all for it. Time for parents to stand up to their local school districts though. Because those so-called feminists sure aren't going to fight for your daughters parents. You will have to do that yourselves.

After months of uninterrupted growth in state power, what we are now witnessing in the disputes rocking the Australian Open, Spotify, Marvel and the trucking world are spontaneous meeting engagements in the culture wars. It’s like a chain reaction of angry people setting off other angry people. The singular thing about this development is that it would have been impossible six months ago. A psychological barrier has been breached and a taboo has fallen. The potential of this to create a cascade is considerable. Most people psychologically want to get along, especially nonpoliticals, unless

Like other cities run by Democrats, Los Angeles is going through an epidemic of violent crime. Its Soros-funded DA George Gascón has a lot of blood on his hands for increasing the mayhem. When he was sworn in, he said his office would not prosecute a host of misdemeanor crimes, or seek the death penalty for even the most heinous murders. No surprise that, as Broken Windows policing confirmed nearly two decades ago, tolerating “non-violent” crimes has increased violent ones. “The data,” as City Journal’s Soledad Ursúa, reports on LA, “show staggering surges of homicides, gun violence, and sexual assaults, and one can see with one’s own eyes the open-air

This week the Democratic National Committee gave Justice Steven Breyer the hook, announcing that he was retiring before he’d firmly decided to do so. When he finally responded, he made clear his intention to remain on the bench until Biden’s nominee was confirmed, which at best likely will be sometime this summer if ever. As part of a deal he made with congressman and House majority whip Jim Clyburn when he was on the ropes in the primaries, President Biden promised to nominate to this significant position a black woman, and three candidates’ names -- a weak bench if the suppositions are correct -- have been

Two and a half years ago, the Tampa Bay Rays devised one of the most innovative, controversial, and frankly, laughable proposals in recent sports history. During the 2019 season, the Rays came to Major League Baseball with an idea to one day split their home games between Tampa Bay and Montreal, with intentions of building open-air stadiums in both cities. That idea was officially killed this week. Commissioner Rob Manfred informed the Rays on Tuesday that the league’s executive council put the kibosh on their idea. “We put everything we had into this effort because we truly believed in it,” team president Rob Auld told the Tampa Bay Times.

The Biden Administrations’ failures are so numerous and egregious, as Jim Geraghty catalogues, that court-scribes like the New York Times, Washington Post, and CNN are turning on him. Even DNC heartthrob Stacey Abrams, chronic denier of election results, snubbed Biden when he came to Georgia. The media’s new-found willingness to fulfill their self-proclaimed sacred charge to “afflict the comfortable” and “speak truth to power,” however, is driven not by a recovered fidelity to fact, evidence-based argument, and objectivity, but by Biden’s record-setting disapproval numbers, especially the declines among Latinos, independents, and young people––constituencies critical for the Democrats’ longed-for “permanent majority.”

In modern times, as in ancient Rome, several nations have suffered a “systems collapse.” The term describes the sudden inability of once-prosperous populations to continue with what had ensured the good life as they knew it. Abruptly, the population cannot buy, or even find, once plentiful necessities. They feel their streets are unsafe. Laws go unenforced or are enforced inequitably. Every day things stop working. The government turns from reliable to capricious if not hostile. Consider contemporary Venezuela. By 2010, the once well-off oil-exporting country was mired in a self-created mess. Food became scarce, crime ubiquitous. Radical socialism, nationalization, corruption, jailing opponents, and the

Generally speaking, I am not a fan of polls. For one, I’ve never been polled by anyone. For another, the number of people being polled often strikes me as too small a sample from which to draw broad conclusions. Also, those samples more often than not tend to oversample one group, Democrats, let’s say, over another group, which again leads to questions of accuracy. Bottom line, I don’t trust ‘em and tend to ignore them in preference to the only poll that actually counts, the election itself. I’ve often asked myself, what would I do if I were to be contacted to participate in a poll.
